Hygge Coffee — Restaurant in La Mirada

This place shocked me on the inside. Compared to the exterior and it’s location, it is actually nice, modern, spacious and has a simple design. It was pretty quiet and I would go there for working or studying or anything (which is usually what I am pretty interested in). The employee I came in contact was nice, but quiet. I was excited about the coffee but to be truly honest, I didn’t taste much. I ordered a latte with oat milk (very happy they had options) but as I left and drank my latte, it really just tasted like oat milk. It didn’t really have a strong espresso-y flavor. Maybe I was having a bad day. I wish all the success to this coffee shop, but it wasn’t my favorite and didn’t have much of a “wow” factor for me or something that really differentiates it from...

This is a hidden gem of a coffee spot in La Mirada! Hygge is a Danish word that describes comfort, though the business owners are a Korean couple.

Parking - Free. small lot shared with other businesses.

Coffee - Stumptown! I didn't get to try, but the owner dude insisted it's really good.

Matcha latte - delicious. Choose with or without sweetener.

This coffee shop is clean and feels spacious. You kind of get your own privacy at your table. There are a lot of tables actually, so it's good for studying here! I would have liked to see a comfy couch with some throw pillows in here since there is so much space.

A hole in the wall place that we found a while ago, did not expect it to look so cozy from the area around it. The cafe has cute plants placed thoughtfully around and enough tables and seats to house a big study group. Really good place to do homework and study at. Free wifi and its pretty fast. The food is also really good, not your typical cafe food but they think of some original recipes that I've never seen before. I got the bulgogi panini and it was delicious. Owners were sweet and talked to us despite our first time. I hope more people learn about this place, I want it to be around for a while haha. A new place to meet...
