Sushiholic — Restaurant in La Mirada

A better name for Sushiholic should be “Teriyaki N’ Sushiholic” because their teriyaki chicken and beef… the sauce is just as amazing as their sushi rolls. Yes who can resist their spicy sliced jalapeño topped Peppered Salmon Roll or their texture paradise “Jessica Roll” that’s like a Rainbow Roll but with crunchy tempura inside. I feeling extra crunchy today and enjoyed their Calmari Tempura served with their addictive spicy mayo!

The other side of Sushiholic that outshines the creative rolls has to be their teriyaki plates. I can’t say which is better, chicken or beef because both are delicious. What’s makes a good teriyaki is of course their sauce. It’s a great balance of sweet, salty and saucy but not too sticky. The way this spot grills their chicken and beef is just perfect. The beef is tender and not dry at all. That also goes for the grilled chicken. Even if it didn’t have the sauce, the teriyaki meats still have flavor.

Service is attentive. This is a casual spot for a quick bite to eat that won’t hurt your wallet or just need a quick meal on the go! Come check...

Service is the focus, and it feels great compared to many other sushi places around here. These guys and gals really seem to be sympathetic to a variety of guest needs. You can tell they are trying to please.

The sushi is always fresh and 90% great. That's not to say it's ever bad. My wife and I have just been coming here so often, we can tell the difference between the menu items from before - sometimes. But it's always good. Better than average.

I would highly recommend this place to friends and family. =)

UPDATE: Just visited again a year after COVID, and they're doing great. We had the Super Sushi Burrito, no rice just fish. It's amazing. Comes with an actual Mexican style Salsa Verde that they make with Japanese ingredients - Tomato Lemon Avocado Cilantro and garlic. It's sooo good guys. If you go there, you have to give it a try. Sushiholic is the best sushi u can possibly buy. They have tons of options and every one of them is top notch grub! I have been coming to the place since I found it about 2 years ago. Soon as I herd the name I made the u turn on imperial to get at it. The rolls are superb! And the salads to die for. Some of the more exotic rolls are dressed up so pretty u won't want to eat it and ruin the artwork. All together... YUMMMMMM! I'll post some more pics next time I go. Just started taking part in the local guide stuff. Any sushi lover has the place they love best. I have had MANY but hands down best to me is sushihollic. Try the mango avocado salad or the mango salmon roll of u like the sweets. If you like your spicy they have many to choose from and all are amazing....
