EXCELLENT food! And the Arnold Palmer drink was the best I've ever had! Well... they better be! After all... duh! 🤭 From the start, my friend and I decided we wanted to try something different. So... the bacon wrapped dates is what we went for. Neither of us have ever had them before. They were unbelievably good! A delightful taste sensation! Then we both ordered the filet mignon. They were prepared to perfection, and were very tasty and juicy! But... if you're going to get this dish, be sure you ask for the garlic mashed potatoes and not the petite oven potatoes. My buddy only got 6 tiny potatoes the size of a nickel. I got a whole bowl of garlic mashed potatoes. Also... Be sure you ask for the chimichurri sauce to go with the steak. It was extremely tasty and a perfect combination. It paired perfectly with the steak. The small arugula salad that came with the dish would make a rabbit cry asking for more. Honestly, it was more of an afterthought than a salad. Anyway, the main course (the steak) was very good! Then we move on to the dessert... We had espressos with a little lemon twist, which I've never had before, and it was very good. I suggest you try it. We decided to have the sorbet, which was mango and raspberry. Absolutely delicious and very refreshing. We also got some carrot cake to go and it looks amazing. I can't wait to try it. If you're in this area, I highly recommend this restaurant. The only disappointing factor was, the hostess actually recommended more things on the menu than our server did. We were very disappointed with the service. I'm not sure if they had a server call out sick tonight, because our server rarely came by our table. She came by right after they dropped off the steaks, like within one minute, and asked us how they were. We had not even taken a bite yet. She could have just looked down at our table and seen that. Then she short changed me because I paid with cash. Not sure if it was a misunderstanding or done deliberately, but it left a very poor taste in my mouth. So, everything about this place was excellent, it's just that the service was very lacking. We were seated in the bar. Maybe that's a place to avoid. We had to ask several times for more drink, and additional items that were needed to go along with the meal. But I do HIGHLY recommend this place. The End! RIP Arnold Palmer! You are the...
Read moreWe hosted our rehearsal dinner at Arnold Palmer’s and it was one of the highlights of our wedding weekend. If you’re considering this spot for a special event, we can’t recommend it enough.
We had 22 guests and started the evening with a 45-minute cocktail reception on the patio. There were high-top tables set up for mingling, a beautifully styled appetizer table, and a separate drink station. It gave our guests time to connect and ease into the evening before dinner.
Dinner was served at one long table, timed perfectly with sunset. The setting felt warm, relaxed, and celebratory. Live music plays on the patio in the evenings, and it added such a great atmosphere without ever feeling too loud or distracting.
The patio itself is gorgeous. It’s surrounded by lush desert landscaping, which creates a private and peaceful feel. What really stood out to me was the lighting. Between the uplighting on the plants, the natural light from sunset, and the soft candle glow on the tables, everything looked magical. I’m pretty picky about lighting and ambiance, and it completely exceeded my expectations.
Amanda, who oversees events at Arnold Palmer’s, was wonderful to work with from beginning to end. She was organized, thoughtful, responsive, and just a genuinely kind and fun person. It felt like she truly cared about our event, and everything came together so smoothly thanks to her.
Rebecca was our server that night and she was absolutely fantastic. She was attentive, friendly, and perfectly timed with every course and drink refill. Several guests commented on how great she was.
The food was excellent, just as it always is here. Everything came out perfectly prepared and paced, and the service from the whole team was top-notch.
If you’re looking for a beautiful, well-run, and inviting space to host a dinner or celebration, Arnold Palmer’s is a fantastic choice. We’re so glad we chose it for our rehearsal dinner. It was everything we hoped...
Read morePrime Rib - 10/10. This was SO delish. Cooked perfect. Horseradish cream was perfect for me (cleared up my nose lol) while the hubs liked the au jus more. Mashed potatoes were poor quality in my opinion (they either use russet or it's powdered which I find hard to believe they use powdered potato). Tip: yellow or gold potato would be so much better for a sweeter and more flavorful mashed potato.
Short Rib Gnocchi - 4/10. The short ribs was good, the gnocchi was cooked perfectly. It was the sauce that did me in. I'm pregnant and can't stand the smell or flavor of tomato sauce right now and made the mistake of forgetting my temporary aversion... but even my husband said it was just too heavy of a sauce. I wish I had ordered anything else.
Cesar salad - 10/10. Great dressing, fresh romaine. No complaints.
Mocktail - perfect. Not too sweet. Tasted so refreshing.
Affogato - 9/10. Would have been a 10/10 but we didn't get the experience of pouring over the espresso ourselves lol. I know, that sounds picky... but it is what it is.
Oh and the onion rings... if I could give 11/10 I would. These were by far my favorite onion rings ever. Perfectly breaded and fried. Not greasy, not too much breading. Just delish. Even took the remainder to - go and hours later they weren't soggy and the kids demolished them. That's how...
