This experience was SO bad! There is 1 star only because it will not let you leave 0 stars as an option. The app was turned off so no customers could make or create pick up orders. There are 6 to 7 parking spaces dedicated to a service that is not provided. Once inside the barista called out asking if anyone had a pickup, in unison we all said "the app isn't up, we can't leave an order.". Each time the door opened she would say, "does anyone have a pick up order?". We had to repeat it several times to her before she finally said, " What? Uh are you serious the app isn't working?"
2 other customers inside the building were also commenting on how poor and inconsistent this location is recently. The app will say off and indicate the store is not open, but people are in the store. I stepped to the counter to give my order, I asked the cashier about chocolate covered espresso beans in stock. The app says they have them, but they were no near the register. She looked at me and then said, "I don't know what you want". I repeated myself 3 times. She says, oh that and points to a display of coffee bags across the store. I repeated myself again, and she says "Oh I guess we don't have them.". I gave my drink order also. I go to pick it up and it was the wrong sized drink. By this time the line olis out the door. None of the employees were speaking to one another or assisting each other in communicating with customers. No visible teamwork at this location. Both customers in front of me left shaking their heads after their experience. I did the same. Today was NOT a testimate of what Starbucks customer service should be...awful.

Read moreThis has got to be the absolute worst Starbucks in the entire world. There is no drive through so they force you to park in a parking lot of about 12 spaces for half a dozen businesses around them. Ordered a coffee and a breakfast sandwich. Got the coffee immediately and then waited for my sandwich. After about 15 minutes the girl at the counter asks for my name and then tells me they are out of the sandwich I ordered and offers me another one. I say fine. I ask if they are the same price and she doesn't know when in fact the one she gave me was a $1.50 cheaper. I then have to go back in line to get my money back. They ask me to put my credit card back in the machine and refund me the entire amount of the sandwich. As I go to leave, they then ask that I pay for the sandwich. I have to go back to the counter, insert my card again and pay them. Why wouldn't you have just refunded me the difference so you don't have to authorize two transactions? In and out the door in no less than 20 minutes. Sandwich is cold because she rushed to make it and didn't cook it properly. No one was friendly, nice, apologetic, or helpful. Completely inept staff with a manager talking on the phone behind the counter not helping. My office is just down the street. Guaranteed none of us will ever be back there again....
Read moreI've come here almost everyday since the new opening of the drive-thru store and I am going to be completely honest: this store is struggling, but not for the reason you think. I love every single employee here, have never had an issue with my drink, and the atmosphere is amazing. Although it is important to mention that the wait time for my drink 80% of the time is 30-40 minutes.
That is NOT normal. This location is always packed, which is why I am telling you to drive a mere 5 more minutes to the next Starbucks ( if you are in a rush) so you can have a faster experience, and the employees can avoid a nasty attitude and complaints about the wait-time.
I must say that I have witnessed 100+ embarrassing, angry, trashy attitudes form THE CUSTOMERS, which in turn makes for a pretty lousy environment for both the customers and the workers. If you have a lousy and impatient attitude, avoid this store and take it out on something else, such as bettering your poor attitude.
This store VERY RECENTLY transitioned from a small cafe with no drive-thru, to a large store with a drive-thru at the heart of La Quinta Cove. Please give them some slack, they have 9+ employees and are still backed up...
