Came here after work to pick up some chicken to make tacos for my family. The Label said it was good for another few days and it wasn’t on sale or marked down so I figured it was safe. I got home, started cooking then opened the chicken and it was the worst thing I’ve ever smelled, I was immediately sick. The smell lingered in my house for an hour. I immediately threw it out. I then called Grocery Outlet to let them know that they were selling spoiled chicken and to see about a refund, and I was very kind, and I was immediately hung up before I could state why I was calling. I called back twice after that and was put on hold for over five minutes before I was hung up on again.. I work in customer service and I understand that all businesses are short staffed right now but to hang up on a kind customer three times is just crazy to me. I will not...
Read moreGrocery outlet doesn't accept WIC? It was just inconvenient since I grabbed WIC items I wouldn't get when paying cash. I would have grabbed 2% milk not fat free... things like that. Once I'm in line though I am committed to what I'm buying because I don't want to hold up the line...register anxiety. Plus many gas stations/grocery stores take WIC so I didn't think to check before choosing this discount store near home, just seems strange to me. Store has good prices, seems clean, and it's nice to have a real grocery store...
