I used to love this place. In fact, i used to actually work at the La Quinta resort and would come here several times a week. Even after i moved away from La Quinta, it was a tradition to come out here every winter and come to the Twenty6 for the amazing hot chocolate that was served with the homemade marshmallows and espresso.
It was extremely sad to drive out here only to learn that a "cut in budget" has reduced this down to a cup of hot milk with some Swiss powder in it. I didn't bother to look and see what else was changed, but from what I've heard, its not too impressive.
I understand loss of profit and this all may seem trivial, but wow, most dissappointing cup of hot chocolate i have ever had in my entire life. Our bill still ended up being $50 for each of us to have one cup, plus two orders of fries. Absolutely ridiculous, tradition ruined, never coming back and never recommending anyone else again. Great service though, bump up a star for the...
Read moreI was very excited upon entering TWENTY6 and seeing that I arrived just in time for happy hour! Unfortunately, contrary to what the sign suggested, happy hour is EXTREMELY limited and located at the bar only. The outdoor seating was very pleasant and my girlfriend and I enjoyed people watching. We ordered the Caesar salad to split because our waiter said it was enormous. However, when it arrived pre-split, it was anemic and tiny. The lettuce was clearly old and not crunchy, and we paid $8 more for what was at most half of a chicken thigh. We also got the spinach chorizo dip, which was tasty and a good size, but came with like 3 slices of bread. Of course, you have to pay for more bread. My girlfriend enjoyed her grapefruit spritz, although that was also very expensive. Overall, a nice atmosphere outside (not inside) and meh food that is too expensive.

Read moreTWENTY6 at La Quinta Resort is a hidden gem that shouldn't be missed. My friends and I visited for a birthday celebration and were blown away by the breakfast buffet. Despite being smaller than some of the Vegas buffets we've experienced, there was a great selection of breakfast items, including sausages, eggs, waffles, oatmeal, cereal, toast, muffins, and an omelet station. The standout dish for me was the beignets - they were surprisingly delicious and not too sweet. Although the waffles were a bit too sweet for my liking, the quality of the food overall was fantastic. The service was equally impressive - the servers were friendly and accommodating. For $38.00 per person (which includes juices, teas, and coffees), it's a great deal. The complementary smoothie shots were a nice touch and added to the overall experience. I highly recommend TWENTY6 to anyone staying at La Quinta Resort - it's a wonderful way to...
