Original : April 2017 Was overcharged for our meals. We had multiple orders in the same car and they insisted we put it all in one order rather than place separate orders for each. As a result all 3 orders were overcharged when they attempted to separate out what was owed by each, in one case by over $5. And if that wasn't bad enough, when we got back to deliver the food for everyone, we didn't even get all our food. When we called to complain we were told that the missing items didn't show up as having been ordered, but they also couldn't figure out why we had each paid the amount we paid. They offered for us to come back and they would have them ready when we ordered them, but would not accept any fault and made us pay for them. Not cool sonic.
Update : June 2018 Should have known better. Attempted to visit here again and the whole order we were given was wrong. They kept insisting it was exactly what we ordered and were incredibly rude. Turns out it was the order for the car next to ours, which they then tried to give to them after having given it to us! Disgusting! Was glad to see them refuse it. When I asked where our order was, they said they showed it had been given to us already... Seriously... At that point I asked for our money back and was told they couldn't do refunds on their system, I suggested giving me my money back and making a note for the manager/owner and the person told me that they were the manager and couldn't process refunds. We left without food and out the nearly $25 paid for our order. Outraged doesn't cover my emotions when I left. I cannot believe this location is still open. I will be contacting corporate. You should all be ashamed...
Read moreIt was an hour ordeal to get our order made and assembled correctly. While I was in the stall, I ran over the order with the runner, who was incredibly pleasant. He found a thing that was wrong with the order (a sandwich without two ingredients off of it), and he took it back to get it fixed. I received the order and felt confident that it was correct. Went home, and when I went through the order, a few items were missing from the bag and the sandwiches weren’t correctly made (a bacon cheeseburger with no bacon, for example). We took it back, we explained and they were once again, very pleasant and understanding. However, when we got out of the drive-thru and looked at our order again, it was made incorrectly in a different way, the sides were still forgotten as well. After once more through the drive-thru, we received the right order and were given the mistakes as a way to make it right.
I appreciate the thought, however, it was only when we had noticed something incorrect with the order that it truly mattered. It shouldn’t have taken us three times going through to make sure our order was properly prepared, and the speed of service was rather slow. I won’t be too harsh and say that it was downright awful and give one star, because it wasn’t. The food was made well, only incorrectly. The employees were kind, but didn’t go the extra mile for accuracy. I don’t see myself coming back to this location due to this, as this has been a common theme before, but I believed it was just one of those things that happens. SONIC remains a very good restaurant with very good food, but I advise you to be careful when visiting this location, as it might not be the fastest...
Read moreWe love sonics and frequent many of their locations often, but this is the 2nd time I've visited this location and the delivery service was horrible. I did a mobile order of 4 drinks and it took close to 25 minutes to get them on August 1st around 7pm. Then when they came, one of the drinks was not mine and I told them. They apologized and said they would make it and have it right out.
I waited another 15 minutes watching them serve all the other packed stalls and full drive thru lane with 5 people working. No one came. I pushed the buzzer and asked was the drink coming, and they asked what it was and said it would be right out. It wasn't. I waited another 10 minutes before I begrudgingly honked my horn at my original server (I don't like doing it because I believe it to he rude).
He comes over and apologizes and goes back in and gets it. I sat at Sonic's for close to an hour and a half for 4 drinks. Just terrible. And the challenge of getting my money back is a mess. I should have been refunded and comped with a gift card for the huge inconvenience. But all I got was a sorry, and a hope and prayer on my end that they didn't do anything to my drink for having to honk at someone in order to get it.
This location needs some help because they're just not able to manage all the business with the 5 staff they have. I'll stick to the other Omaha Metro...
