Almost every order I send in gets messed up. One of the guys running thr front end tonight admitted they have messed up a lot but not almost every time. I don't order as much as I used to from them becasue of all the mess ups. My husband moved in this past summer and every tine I ordered sibce he has lived here I had to call and get my order fixed. Wheb I called to to tonight I said I would much rather not be placed on hold and the girl was like, " Well we are very busy." Right but I waited all this time and paid a delivery fee to have my order messed up and would rather they just put in a correction to fix the issue. She was like, " well we made a mistake this time." Yes but you need to fix the food. I had bariatric surgery and can't eat what you gave to me. She spoke to someone in the background saying I was being rude. No, I just want my order fixed and her acting like it was too inconveniencing to fix something I paid money for and then complain about the customer for just wanting their order fixed because you are just too busy is not acceptable customer service at all. The girl shod be reprimanded and staff needs to be properly trained on their chownow system and verifying orders were placed in properly since that is where they mess up each time. I have had wrong pasta dishes delivered, wrong caesar wraps and incorrect quanitities of them, alfredo sent with broccoli instead of marinara with meatballs. My husband hates alfredo. My spinach wrap didn't have the cheese I requested and they made a white wrap that I didn't order and dressing I have paid for for chicken tenders have been missing from orders too. Ongoing issues and now having to deal with a rude girl at the location who got upset with me just because I wanted them to fix the order. I will never do delivery again for you guys. If I ever order again and it is messed up I will show you first hand the issues right in front of you at the counter because now denying the fact you mess up almost every order I get is frustrating in itself when it is completely true. Take ownership of your mistakes, fix the issue and properly train to avoid these issues in the future instead of just allowing it to continue as you have.
I have an entire history of phone calls made to this place for each time I had to ask them to fix the orders they messed up on. The list is...
Read moreI went to lakeside today to grab supper. I’m new to the area so I’m checking places out. I wanted a steak and cheese with onions, mushrooms and tomato’s. I asked if they use shredded steak or tips they said both, so I opted for tips. TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT!! First I was eating in. I waited quite some time and overheard girl at cash asking for it. Cook acknowledged he was working on it. When it FINALLY was ready I asked what took so long. She says, we had 10 orders ahead of you. Gosh, didn’t seem that busy. Opened sandwich and it looked burned. And it was marinated tips-I hate them and can’t have the sugar because I’m diabetic. Onions, mushroom, steak and cheese in a burnt sugar sauce. I pick out 5 tiny pieces of tomato, couldn’t eat the bread and had a couple pieces of meat. Went to counter and simply asked if it was marinated. Cook says, I’ve been cooking 25 years and tips are always marinated. I wanted to say I’ve been eating steak tips more then 65 years and that’s the first time they’ve been given to me that way. I asked to see it on the menu board. Did not say marinated. He says, it does if you look online. It doesn’t. He finally stopped arguing and asked how to fix it. I got my money back for sandwich. Someone educate this store. I heard other rude comments from where I sat. Be kind to both coworkers(I heard true rudeness between two) and customers. I’m not sure I’ll be back. An apology that the sandwich was made wrong would have satisfied me. Mistakes happen. Rudeness gets...
Read moreI ordered a steak and cheese calzone, like I have many times before. I asked for extra marinara sauce ON THE SIDE, again like I have many times before. However this time, UNLIKE the rest, I got what looked like a steak, cheese and tomato soup calzone. I was horrified as I have a child who can not eat tomatoes and I had already waited 45mins for this to arrive. When I called the restaurant, they offered to send out another that I would have to wait another 45mins for and didn't even apologize. When I said that I just wanted my money back, I was put on hold to speak to the manager, who I then had to explain the situation to AGAIN. He also didn't offer an apology, just anot her calzone. I explained I wanted my money back and he just went silent on the phone. I had to say hello again after a moment to make sure he was still there. Then I had to ask if he was going to send my money back to me because he still hadn't answered my question. He finally said yes and they would send someone right over with it. As it turns out I actually waited longer for the money to be returned to me then I waited for the calzone to begin with. At least the delivery driver was polite, he apologized even though it was in NO WAY his fault. Sadly to say this isn't the first time we have had issues with messed up orders, long wait times and rude staff. This customer is giving up. Southend pizza and seafood is closer, has better customer service, better prices and all around...
