Title: Disappointing Experience at T-Bones Restaurant Rating: ★★☆☆☆ I recently visited T-Bones Restaurant with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience fell far short of what I had hoped for. The service was lackluster, and the quality of the food left much to be desired. One of the most glaring issues was the extensive wait time. My party and I waited for over 75 minutes for our meals, which is simply unacceptable. This long wait only served to heighten our anticipation, making the ultimate disappointment even more palpable. I decided to order the Greek Salad, but upon its arrival, it was evident that it had been left under a heat lamp for far too long. The vegetables were wilted, and the overall presentation was lackluster. It was a shame to see such potential go to waste. While the steak I ordered was cooked perfectly to my liking, the accompanying mashed potatoes were a letdown. They were dry and lacked the creamy texture one would expect. In fact, they appeared more like a poorly executed smashed baked potato than true mashed potatoes. Another member of my group ordered the chicken pot pie, and while it was passable, it failed to impress. The flavors were somewhat bland, and it lacked the comforting, homestyle appeal that makes a pot pie truly enjoyable. Adding to our dissatisfaction was the fact that our waitress seemed to avoid our table due to the prolonged waiting time. It is understandable that delays can occur, but it is the responsibility of the staff to communicate and provide adequate service, even in challenging situations. To top it all off, the appetizer we ordered, the chili nachos, was a disappointment as well. The portion size was small, and there were hardly any toppings. It seemed as though the kitchen had skimped on ingredients, resulting in a lackluster dish that failed to satisfy. Overall, my experience at T-Bones Restaurant was disappointing. The service was subpar, with an excessively long wait time, and the food fell short of expectations. While the steak was cooked well, the lackluster Greek Salad, dry mashed potatoes, and underwhelming chicken pot pie left much to be desired. The chili nachos were also a letdown, lacking in both portion size and toppings. I hope that T-Bones takes these criticisms constructively and works towards improving their service and food quality in the future.

I’m so happy their online ordering is back up. I primarily get to-go orders. I always get the country fried chicken. It is delicious, although I would say the breading lacks any kind of seasoning, so salt it yourself or be sure to use plenty of gravy. It has a great crunch with the cornflake coating. They put the gravy on the side for to-go orders which is perfect! The mashed potatoes usually need some love, dry and seemingly with little to no butter or dairy. If I’m eating in the restaurant I will order coffee and use my creamer to fix them. Soaked in the gravy they are just fine, but I would request extra gravy (REALLY good gravy) so you have enough for everything. This time I ordered onion rings. I prefer delicate, thoroughly cooked onion rings. These ones were monsters, very thick, probably too thick to cook through without burning them. I could not bring myself to eat the onions. I also ordered the Tomato Basil Mozzarella. If you are ordering takeout like I normally do, I suggest calling and requesting to have the balsamic and aioli on the side so that the grilled bread stays crispy. I put my bread in the toaster oven and it recovered mostly.

Delicious food. The complimentary bread is very very good. We visited to lunch, we ate a delicious Clam chowder soup. I ate the Hancock fish the flavor is amazing with mashed potatoes and greek salad. My husband ate the Tbones steak is a big portion, a good flavor, but He ordered medium but some parts of the Meat was rare. The desserts had amazing flavor, we ate the Apple crumble with ice cream, the kids ate the Chocolate brownie sundae with ice cream. Both desserts are very delicious and good portions. The kids menu, my boy ate a hamburger with bacon and cheese very good portion and flavor but he french fries had too much seasoning over it, my boy ate somes with low seasoning. My girl ordered the pasta with sauce, and we add chicken, the price of the chicken is almost the same of another kids meal. So I think the restaurant will be consider a low price for add to the pasta any protein (chicken, bacon, ham). Because the portion for a kids is less vs adult portion. I recommend the place and I will be back. I like so much. Our server very nice, kind and helpful. Also he recommended us places to visit. The place have a pretty view to the lake.

Not a lot of places I visit and we finish all the food without asking for the boxes to go. The portions are marginally a little bit more compared to other restaurants. We ordered Mediterranean Veggie Wrap, baked stuffed haddock and shrimp, honey Sriracha chicken and mac n cheese. I would say the Sriracha chicken was my favorite. I usually am not a big fan of tenders, though the chicken looked like tenders, the dish was crispy, tasty, melted in the mouth with the right amont of flavor. This came with fried brussels sprout as well. Wrap was good as well with a pita wrapped around chickpea, sundried tomato, onion, olive, feta, parsley, cucumber and spinach. This came with beans on the side. My brother enjoyed his baked haddock and strip, which I concurr after hacing a bite to taste. Overall a good place to eat with views of the lake. I would definitely go back there again, but during the day. I prefer eating local than the chains. If you lived in a resort or lodge nearby look for a free appetizer coupon.
