How this place hasn't been shut down and could receive rave reviews is beyond me. This place MUST pay for its reviews. My son and I ate there recently and ordered the cashew nut chicken and General Tso. The chicken is obviously fatty canned chicken and smelled awful. The vegetables were mostly peas and carrots. Very little onions and zucchini. We ended up eating just rice with gravy and cashews. The General Tso was fatty fried canned chicken with warm ketchup poured over it! It reeked of ketchup flavor. NO peppers or other vegetables. Just broccoli as a garnishment. This was the worst Chinese food experience ever! To top it off the owner/waitress (and I use that term loosely) was on the cell phone the ENTIRE time we were in there and would only stop talking a few seconds to take our order and bring our check. She was hollering on the phone in the booth right behind us. Other patrons were complaining about the loud cell phone usage and unprofessional demeanor of the owner. Needless to say, we will never eat there again and advise anyone who enjoys good Asian cuisine to avoid it at all costs! If I could rate it with NO...
Read moreI’ve been a patron of Magic Wok going on 20 years now. It’s a family restaurant where the proprietors know their regulars and treat them like family, but are also extremely welcoming to everyone. They have both buffet and menu options, but I would say the buffet is best at lunchtime. I have ordered almost everything on the menu in my 20 years, and can honestly say I have never had anything that wasn’t at least good, if not great. The restaurant serves a good mix of Americanized Chinese and mainland recipes. I highly recommend the orange chicken, the Chinese spaghetti, the Ma Po tofu and the pepper fish or shrimp. They also have a good selection of vegetarian options, of which the green beans & garlic and the spicy spinich dishes with rice are my favorites. If you are feeling adventurous, just ask for a recommendation and they will gladly make you a...
Read moreI've probably been here way too many times to almost call in my dining room now. I love this place. The food is probably one of the best Chinese food I have had. The buffet is pretty standard Noodles, Fried Rice and a lot of good chicken preparations. I personally like the Soups and the Cheese Wantons as well. Off the buffet, the food is amazing as well. I love the chicken and soft tofu. It's my favorite, along with the fried prawns. It's a must visit. I would totally recommend this place to others. It's a lot of good food. The owners are amazing. We always have a good time when we go there. Just two things that I'd want to point out is that this place needs a little bit of an overhaul. Also, I'd like to see a change in the buffet once in a while....
