I'm very disappointed in this place. I ordered take out and spent $46 plus dollars on several items. When I tried to pay for the items I was told by the attendant that the transaction did not go through. I tried a different card and was told that transaction did not go through. After two tries, I decided to pay with cash. I left my phone number with the young lady because she said she did not know how to refund the two transactions after i noticed I had been charged on two of my cards. No one never called me. I then decided to call and spoke with someone who said she was the shift manager and was the sister of the owner. I gave her my number and she said the owner would call me back to fix the refund. After I did not receive a call, I called back again to see what happened. The shift manger told me that she and the owner had called me but some old people had answered the phone and told them not to call again. She even said she redialed the number I called her from and it did not work. I guess she thought I was boo-boo the fool because there is no way she called my number. I've come to the conclusion that the owner had decided not to refund my money which was $46.58 on one card transaction and $53.57 on another card for a total of $100.15. I had to finally dispute the transaction with my bank and credit card company. I advise anyone to not let stuff like this slide. Money is money and I deserve...
Read moreI’m new to Lafayette and this is my first time having something from the Peach Cobbler Factory. Maybe that was my problem I didn’t order Peach Cobbler but rather Blackberry Cobbler. But the only difference should be the fruit part and the crust part should be the same.
The fruit could have been sweeter or a different sweet. I don’t like overly sweet but something was missing in the fruit. The crust, in my opinion, should be the best part of any pie or cobbler; this crust wasn’t, not flakey and crunchy like it should be. Instead it was mushy and muddled. I believe the problem is trying to give us more of the crust than necessary. I would have been happier with a small square of crust on the top that was perfect rather than a whole lot that was not.
We’re in the land of Blue Bell Ice Cream and nothing less than their Homemade Vanilla should have been served with the cobbler, and it clearly was not.
Unfortunately, I wasted $10 and it will be thrown away. Will I try again? Maybe but I will try something else, it won’t be the cobbler or...
Read moreI've been ordering from this place 3-4 times a week for about a month. I was 1st introduced to this place in early February and have been ordering it ever since. My co-workers and I were having it door dashed often and each time it would taste a little bit worse. Each day I would say I was done because the previous time the cobbler wasn't up to par but I'd order it again and get upset all over again. Well I just left there @ 9::11pm. I should have known not to go so close to closing. Anyone that's ever ordered from inside knows it takes more than 2 minutes for them to fix your order. I didn't even get a chance to sit before they brought the order out. The strawberry cobbler is so hot which tells me it was microwaved. And there's maybe a tablespoon of ice cream in the cup.
