Two days ago I ordered a qpc from the lobby, someone had turned the menu off but the restaurant was obviously well open, a member of management was asking the worker why the tv was off. After ordering a qpc i went to snack at the car since the lobby was closing(my nana car atm). I grubbed for about 25minutes as a chatted to guests on BigoLive about the economy and the working class pay structure that disenfranchises economic mobility. i chatted about guitar center having not hired me for a standing job because im over-qualified yet i should still be offered a schedule. Even if someone has more credentials and app is still to be on a schedule. at about half an hour i start to eat my then sorta cold fries. I had a large fries. Midway into the fries I noticed the fries were overcooked, and dark yellow, and crunchy too, and was probably the old fries given at the end of the night. I went to the lobby and chatted to the worker at the door who was confused that i had eaten more than half moy fries cuz i was hungry, was my first meal of the day, and that I wouldnât want to waste the food, so that i wanted a cookie as a complimentary to the old overcooked fries, the worker debated with me that I had eaten most of the fries and that I should have brought the fries back immediately. So that they couldâve given me more fries for the old fries they had given me? That doesnât make sense. They wouldâve either given new fries, taken the old ones and threw them out, yet, I paid for the fries so of course I ate more than half before showing the worker the fries was old and overcooked, the worker then locked the door and a coworker next to her started to laugh and giggle. I threw the fries at the window and left. donât go to that McDonaldâs during the night shift, the workers arenât up to standards. They probably donât believe their pay can compensate when they give...
Read moreThe food is consistent no matter where on earth you find a McDonald's. This should be worth 5 stars by itself BUT the other thing that is consistent at all McDonald's is the terrible service. The wife and I stopped in to this one on a road trip coming from Houston. Maybe the service is better here I thought. Surely can't be worse than the horrible service at all Baton Rouge McDonald's right? I don't know that it was worse but it surely wasn't any better. We were standing at the counter to order for close to five minutes, first in line mind you. Then a few others joined behind us. We all stood there watching the maybe half dozen employees scurrying around doing stuff. As mildly interesting as watching how McDonald's food is made, we really wanted to get our food and get back on the road. All the employees seemed to be working hard but especially working hard at making eye contact with the customers watching them. Finally one of them whom I assume was the manager because she had a different outfit than the others comes over and asks "do you need to order?" Knowing my very outspoken wife like I do and not wanting our food spit in, I grabbed my wife's arm and told her we would love to. As my beloved dearly departed mother-in-law used to say "Jesus God!" After we ordered and were standing waiting, my wife says out loud to the others waiting with us now "what other reason exactly did she think we might all be standing there for?" Only that poor soul can say. I know they don't pay much but does McDonald's actively seek out the lowest IQd people? Sounds harsh but Google asked me for a review and my blood is still boiling about...
Read moreStopped by this McDonald's at about 8:38 PM, on August 29th, 2018, while driving from Florida to Houston. After placing my order, I sat down, a bit tiredly to eat with my family. After a little while, the same young lady who took my order came to our table to give me my wallet. With incredulity, I looked at her hand ... I had forgotten my wallet filled with over $2300.00, at the counter and the McDonald angel brought it back, with all my credit cards, bank deposit card, and most importantly, my driver's license! I was touched. After some moments, I called the angel and learnt her name is Mackenzie. When I gave Mackenzie a little money in appreciation of her honesty, she declined, until her Supervisor gave her the permission to take the money. Amazing, amazing McDonald's location and super hero staff. To the manager of that location in Lafayette, you should mark this individual named Mackenzie for a promotion - she is the epitome of honesty and very good...
