My 4 year old son and I chose to dine inside and we used the mobile app for Table service. We should have been able to just come in, sit at a table, put our table number in the app and wait for our food to be served to us. However the app was not working right and I was charged $18 for our food. We did not get the food and when I went to the register and spoke to a staff member, I was told that I would have to order again. Several teen staff members congregate new the register and the front door as they complained able working there. One female lady said she was about to quit. I replied that she should. Not that the job isn't for her but wasn't ready for this type of work. Eventually a manager gave us our food and my son ate and was happy. However, I was not. The service at this McDonald's is the worst out of any McDonalds I have every been too. This does not fall on the fact that it is staffed with young adults. It falls on the lack of leadership at this restaurant. Someone should be there at every shift leading these young adults to be their best. Alot of them will quit and go somewhere else. Let's face the fact that McDonalds is a first job for alot of people. Someone in leadership here should be ashame of how they have lead these kids in their first job. The behavior that was allowed here will surely follow these kids to their future careers. Hopefully someone in leadership will step up. As of now, I will not be returning to this restaurant...
Read moreThis is probably the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever experienced in my entire life. Not only did I have to wait 30 minutes for my order to be taken in the lobby but they couldn’t even get my order right. Burgers are always slopped to the side. They always forget sauces and drinks. When I went to get my order corrected, they wouldn’t even come up to me after I stood at the counter for 10 minutes. I had three workers walk past me before anyone even came up. It shows that the workers aren’t even properly trained. I’ve tried giving this McDonald’s a chance again and again. It sucks absurdly. Some of the workers are also very rude and disrespectful. Even had one roll their eyes at me. Ridiculous. Service is always slow every time I come here to eat. If you want to wait the approximate time that I did and waste your money down the drain for sloppy food, look no further than the Lafayette Mcdonald’s. It is an embarrassment and a disgrace to this McDonald’s. I also don’t know how on god’s green earth corporate hasn’t straightened things up at this place. Shame on all of them. Not even a 1 star should be acceptable for this god-forsaken place....
Read moreMost of the time I have a good to great experience at this location so I feel bad writing this review. But today was a horrible experience to say the least. I ordered my food like I always do and pulled into a parking space. After I got done eating my food I turned on the McDonald’s WiFi to check my emails and talk to a couple of friends online. I’m not sure who the lady was but I’m sure she was new came outside talking on the phone cussing and smoking a cigarette at the front door of the restaurant. She explain to the person on the phone that she didn’t no why I was in my car in the parking lot. I never felt so uncomfortable in my whole life. I really didn’t think it was a issue of me using the WiFi since I eat there twice a day and do it everyday I’m off work. I’m sure that her actions don’t represent the whole company or even that location but to be openly that rude is very concerning.
