UPDATE 12-NOV-2020: Besides this fast food joint, there is only one other fast food restaurant that is as consistently horrible service as they come. Not only do they act like its a bother that you are there to place an order, they also never listen to what you order. No matter how clear and concise you place your order, they will always ask you exactly what you want on your order step by step by step. Almost as if, they can't listen to a complete order and place it in they POS at the same time. Then, when you get to the window to pay, you have to make sure they did get your order right as you might be paying for more then you get. Oh...yea...check your bag before you pull away, because 9.5 out of 10 times your order will be wrong. Of course, this review will go unanswered and things will go unchanged. Customer services isn't what these business are about, its about making a profit without doing to much to ensure the customer is satisfied.
As for fried chicken in South Louisiana, this to me has the best flavor (spicy) then any other fried chicken out there. Obviously (as of 04-Nov-2019) the spicy chicken sandwich is a real treat.
What is wrong with this place is that no one working there seems to take pride in their job. Food order is seldom correct or even getting dipping sauce you asked for. Employees seem rude and not helpful. It's not just this one location, it is ever Popeyes I've visited. The working environment needs to improve and needs to be made to be enjoyable to work there instead of just being a place...
Read moreWe decided to try this location again after a long while because the last time we went it took over 40 min. I completed the order on the app, got my email receipt at 5:20pm. It took 10 min to get there. No was waiting at the order menu and I was asked to wait a sec. After 2 min someone said ok you can order now. I said I have a mobile order. I was told to wait a sec again. Another 2 min go by and I was asked again to go ahead and order. I said I have a mobile order and was told to drive to the window. At the window, the girl is making drinks and then asks me if I want another drink besides Fanta. No sorry we're out of Fanta or anything pleasant, just "do you want something besides Fanta?" I say Sprite is ok. She then hands me 3 drinks and says you can pull over to wait for your food. I told her I should have 4 drinks. She looks at me, says nothing, then looks at receipt, then makes 4th drink and hands it to me with no words. I ask her where did she want me to park? She says the 1st parking spot. This all took 8 min. I park and wait 18 more min before she brings the food. I roll down the window and as I grabbing the bag from her I say thank you and she doesn't reply. Just walks off. No, I'm sorry about your wait or anything. 26 min total! I drive home (10 min) and the order is correct, but food is cold, my chicken tenders rubbery and had a curly hair sitting on top. Never going to this location again and it will be a long time before I can eat...
Read moreManager looks at me and I tell her that I placed an online order. She then looks to the person behind me and asks what they are there for and that person responds, doordash pickup. That person gets their order. Then another individual comes in and places an order and gets their food then leaves. 30 minutes of standing there waiting in silence with no update I inquire about my order. At that point they begin to get my order together. I leave, realize I am missing an item and went back 5 minutes later. The employee looks at me and says what are you missing. I told her the item that was missing and she brought it to me, set it down in front of me, and with out a word of apology or anything just walked away. While waiting, the manager is yelling at employees and employees are asking why she's yelling. Terrible atmosphere. Terrible experience. Food wasn't even HOT after waiting so long. Furthermore, it would appear that the 'owner' does absolutely nothing to actually affect positive change at this location and simply hopes that everyone that has a bad experience gives them another chance. No, this was your last one. Actions speak louder than words. My money will be going to your competitors from...
