We came across Little Hacienda Mexican Restaurant while shopping at the mall in Lafayette, La. We googled the restaurant’s menu and decided to place an order to go. After walking in, I felt a serene sense of comfort. Soft mellow music was playing in the background. This place was sort of small and very nice. The lights were dimmed and there was NO noise. It was peaceful and quiet. I asked the host for a menu because we were placing our order to go. For such a small restaurant, the menu has a huge variety of options. For our appetizer we ordered the steak fries. We decided to order the Quesadilla’s Fajitas. We had a choice of steak or chicken Quesadilla’s. It came with cheese on the inside, and topped with Nacho Cheese sauce. (They forgot our nacho cheese sauce on top) we also got a serving of beans and rice on the side, as well as a guacamole salad. We had pico de gallo, sour cream sauce, and a spicy red sauce, and nacho chips on the side. (Again no cheese sauce). We also ordered Margaritas. The Strawberry Margaritas was definitely on point. Just the right amount of alcohol. The margaritas are 2 for 1.
The price for our entire meal was under $60 bucks. We rushed back to our hotel room to devour into our food. OMG it was so delicious. Everything was flavored well. The Quesadillas were so good. Chicken and steak was moist and tender. The steak fries were my favorite. I added sour cream to my Quesadilla and steak fries. The portions size were enough to get us through. We still have left overs. We were not disappointed. We will definitely...
Read moreVery authentic. In the picture I ordered the Pollo Azteca and would order this every time I visit Hacienda. It came with steak, shrimp, and chicken. Service was quick. I believe the name of the man serving our food was Ralpheal (not sure if spelled correctly) but he was awesome. He made sure everything was as such and had a friendly manner. I told him that my margarita didn’t taste like it had any liquor in it and he personally bought a bottle of tequila to the table and poured more in my margarita. Would recommend this place to anyone and definitely...
Read moreExpensive. Amazed how one guac salad, one coke, one taco plate to include one cheese enchilada with onions & pico & beans cost $30.62. Did I miss the gold in the plate? Just ridiculous & when I go to Hacienda by Rooms to Go & eat same food with tasty black beans with extremely good service & smiles, I pay $16.50 I went to La Fiesta in Broussard Saturday, ate same items, friendly smiles & the bill was $13.48 & the food was very tasty. Sad cuz I was really happy Hacienda had taken over the Blue Agave location. I...
