Never ate at this restaurant but wanted to try it because of the 4.6 rating on Google. Not sure why it has it this high because the whole experience was terrible. When we walked in the decor was tacky with Mardi Gras decorations everywhere, walls and ceiling. We seated quickly but the server took forever to take our drink order and bring them, they were to busy talking at the bar. We ordered a sampler app which took 20 minutes to get and she asked what type of bread we wanted, never got it. She then took our lunch order and there were 3 of us, we all ordered the combination plate again she asked what bread we wanted. 2o minutes later someone from the kitchens comes out and tells us they ran out of salad, another 10 minutes pass and they bring the plate of food, $15 for a small 10" plate of meat and rice, the portions at the Zeus express are bigger in the to go plates , an i know the gyro was the prepackaged frozen one you get everywhere. Still never got the pita bread, the waitress never came back to the table and refilled our drinks not once . By the time we got our food there was no one left in the place except the bar. Don't go there if you are in a rush for your lunch break it was over an hour from the time we walked in and left. Oh and they charged me full price for all our meals, even though we did not get everything we ordered! On a positive note the...
Read moreWe dined at your restaurant night after last hearing good things, but unfortunately, my experience left a lot to be desired.
The first thing that struck me was the appearance of a staff member behind the bar—a tan woman with blonde hair, wearing a tank top that I felt was entirely inappropriate for the setting. While I understand the desire for a casual atmosphere, there’s a line between casual and unprofessional. Her attire didn’t reflect the level of quality or decorum I was expecting from a place with your reputation .
On top of that, the food was disappointing. I ordered the lamb chops, which I was really looking forward to, but they came out severely overcooked—tough, dry, and lacking any of the tenderness or flavor you’d expect from a well-prepared cut of meat.
Between the distracting bar presence and the poor execution in the kitchen, the entire meal was a letdown. I sincerely hope this feedback is taken seriously, because with some attention to professionalism and quality control, I do think your restaurant could live up to the reputation that brought me through the door in the...
Read moreGot the combination platter which comes with soup or salad. I chose the Greek salad. Not bad, I appreciated the fresh strawberries and hint of mint. Only one olive though, and very little feta cheese. For the combination platter: the chicken shawarma was so dry it was not edible. the pork souvlaki was a little less dry, but still overcooked. The beef and lamb gyro was actually quite good and fairly moist. The potatoes were just okay. The service was marginal at best, borderline terrible. Young teen girls, some more interested in socializing with the teen boys at the bar and others doom-scrolling on their phones. Assessment? I wouldn’t come back. Nothing wowed me, some of it was actually pretty bad, and the service...
