Honestly, I think it'd be more aptly named "forced to eat this burger at 2:00 a.m.- a- burger." Almost forgotten the times which multiple different fast food delicatessen restaurants lined the street. Ah, to you younger crowd that aren't reading this because y'all just probably not outchere checking Google maps reviews, there once was a time prior to coronavirus multiple different options were available to you if you were hungry past midnight. And then there is another time unbeknownst to me as well, a time which Taco Bell actually observed it's hours of operation. This has been an ongoing feud I've had for Taco Bell at multiple locations but in particular the one on Pinhook and Kaliste Saloom. Just because you turn off all your lights on the exterior of the building, and don't want to do work well you didn't want to do work when you clocked in that day that doesn't mean you can close the whole day or early for that matter. However, I'm supposed to be reviewing Whataburger. The place is mediocre at best. The prices are far too high, and people just line up and droves like sheep or rather lambs to the slaughter. Their milkshakes are on point I'll give them that to that I do cede. Otherwise give me McDonald's back damn it for 3:00 a.m. option after a night bar hopping. Hell, given the right crew I'll even take Burger King over Whataburger. If I'm going to spend my child's don't worry I don't have any children college fund while eating out I want to get something a little bit higher quality than this place. At least I know I'm getting terrible quality food from Taco Bell they don't even try to hide the fact anymore. Whataburgers trying to convince everyone they're so high class they can charge $15 for a meal. And that's right five guys I got an eye on y'all too. If you don't have servers then you best be keeping yourself...
Read moreOnly giving one star because I have to. The service is terrible. I went through the drive thru, ordered my food. Easy enough. I then waited in the line about 4 minutes before I even paid for my food. Okay, there were two vehicles in front of me, so understandable. It’s when I got to the window that the hot mess began. The guy came to the window to confirm my order. He then took my card to pay. Standard enough, except after taking my card and swiping it, he CLOSED THE WINDOW AND WALKED OFF. Yes, completely out of sight with my card! And stayed gone for over 10 minutes. During this time, my drinks are sitting in the window, one cup broken one with no lid. A female FINALLY comes to the window to hand me my drinks, lids loose. Then asks me to pull up to wait for the food. I’ve been waiting for about 15 minutes at this point. I told her I needed my card, and she brings me that. Meanwhile I’m wondering what they were doing with my card all this time. You NEVER walk out of sight with a customer’s card, EVER. So after pulling up because I’ve already paid and my husband and I both just worked 12 hour shifts so nobody is cooking, I wait another 10 minutes for my food. When she FINALLY brings that out, I have to remind her that I had one more drink. Honestly, they could have kept that because I threw them out since they sat open on their counters. Got home and none of the food was correct. But at that point, I didn’t even feel like bothering with it. Point is, this location is garbage. They need to restaff and retrain, or just...
Read moreI have lunch at this particular Whataburger Restaurant quite frequently. This business establishment/name has been in business since 1950. A time before McDonalds or Burger King existed & ppl didn't know how to pronounce those two names...because they didn't exist. I like the style the food is cooked/prepared/size of Whataburger's Hamburgers. I do like the taste of the flame broiled by Burger King, but the overall taste & size is wonderful & I'd definitely choose Whataburger's Hamburgers over Burger King. Upon entering this particular restaurant, I was greeted by a very helpful & friendly employee who received my order. The wait time from placing the order to receiving my correct order was very minimal. The restaurant appeared/smelled clean & fresh, so we're the men's restroom. I'm disabled, but not handicap, but I did notice the parking lot had handicapped parking spaces available & well as the inside has handicapped booths. Upon keeping up with current prices of numerous businesses, I can see the prices being charged at this restaurant for fast food services are well within prices being charged by other similar fast food restaurants within this area...other than this area I cannot/will not attest definitely...
