Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in LaFayette

This has always been one of my go to fast food places although the one I used to go to is in a different city. I recently moved to town to take care of my mom. I'm sad to say I'm not impressed with this one so far. They say they never have onion rings in when I have went. It seems like the order is never completely right. One day we sat there for about 15 minutes when I decided to ask the lady if my screen was even working since I had pushed the red button and no one had even said to hold on or anything. She said they were short staffed and would be with me shortly. But I had seen 3 cars come and go close to me and they had yet to even acknowledge us. Then when they finally did bring the order absolutely nothing was even slightly warm. Cold hamburgers are just gross. Then yesterday my son wanted a hot dog and we were out running errands. Again no onion rings. They charged me wrong and the hamburger and tots had a really strange taste. The tots actually made me feel sick to my stomach so I only ate 4. They had a bitter taste and tasted nothing like tots. And my son wouldn't eat the hot dogs. He said the tasted like rubber and the bread was crunchy. So out of the whole order my mom ate the sandwich I got her and I drank my drink. And I spent almost $23. I don't think I will be using this one again even if I have to drive a little further. Worst sonic I’ve ever been to, went there one day and asked for a milkshake and some cheese sticks, I got told they were only selling drinks, no slushes, no food, no icecream or milkshakes, just drinks. There’s no where else to get a good milkshake, and their icecream machine has been “down” for the past three weeks

I also ordered food one time, cheese sticks and a jumbo popcorn chicken, it tasted like plastic, I told them that and they argued with me and said “how does our food taste like plastic?” grabbed the food I ordered and slammed it in a trash can and said I’d have fresh food out, the so called fresh food I got back, tasted just as bad

Everyone in there needs to be fired, and new staff needs to be hired, they are all lazy, the icecream machine isn’t broken, they are lazy and stealing hours to make money, we have called corporate and told them about everything. If I was running a fast food restaurant chain I would be very disappointed to see the ratings and reviews

Will no longer waste my time or money here until somethings fixed

(Update) went there again, this’ll be a month now the icecream machine is still broken, I drove to the one in Chickamauga instead because they can actually make a blast and not be lazy...

I was visiting this charming town for work. Had time to stop somewhere to eat. Very few choices here in this cute town. Boom SONIC I'm there. Unfortunately my experience was not what I'm used to. Perhaps good help is hard to find in this small charming town. As I'm in an oversized vehicle I cannot jut pull in. Fortunately I parked next door. I tried 20 times to use the SONIC APP to order. Unfortunately it kept telling me something went wrong. So I proceeded to walk over and order from. The sit down area. I pushed o pushed I pushed. Noone would pick up to take my order. So I walked over to a car hop. I pushed I pushed I pushed. Despite cars constantly going through the drive thru there was no other business. So I felt ignored. I looked closer into the window and yes they had a few workers inside. By no means short staffed. So I waved and pushed the button again. Finally a young lady brash and rude proceeded to take my order. They were out of ice and she really seemed put off at taking my rather large difficult order(my wife was with me). Surprisingly the food came out without any problems. It was hot fresh and well put together. I guess just the ordering process seems difficult at...
