The Great Awakening Coffee Company + Doughnuts — Restaurant in LaFayette

For anyone else who was planning to come by here for the breakfast food in some of the photos here, just be aware that they no longer serve any food besides the donuts and drinks! Unfortunately when we went they informed us of this. Also, we went at 2:00 on Monday, and there were only 4 donuts in 2 flavors left, so if you’re looking for the best time for the biggest availability, maybe try the morning instead!

Also, bonus, there is a drive-thru for this location which is unusual for local cafe spots, but I consider to be a plus- though you won’t really be able to get what’s on the menu options sign outside the window much other than coffee since the donut selection varies, you won’t be able to see what’s still available from the car, but they’ll be able to quickly tell you what’s left/made today and when you pull up and order.

Price wise, we ended up getting 2 donuts, 1 large drink and 1 regular for $17, which is a bit more than I expected, but if the higher price is due to avoiding human rights violations when sourcing their beans, then I’m fine with it!

For speed, there was only one employee there to make things, so it was a bit slow, but it wasn’t busy so we weren’t waiting for other orders to finish first,...

Gonna be honest, I absolutely love this place! I’ve never ordered a drink I did not like. We have better than Starbucks at a much more affordable price in the small town of LaFayette! I love their drinks. The employees are always kind and always let me ask questions and help reccomend me and pick new drinks to try. Really love their customer service. I will say the first 2 times I came I was not greeted in drive thru so almost never came back but glad I gave this place another try because I’d much rather spend my money here than drive to Dalton/Fort O for some...

I have been 3 times. Im a 3 chance person especially with food/drink service everyone and every establishment has an off day. Also each time I paid a different price for the same thing which prices here are high.

Large ice coffee Heavy whipping cream No sugar No flavor Light ice

It is very expensive here higher than Starbucks. No where near as good. The last time I came through I paid 8.98 for the above order. 🤪😳 Definitely not worth that price coffee flavor needs improvement...
