Bluffington's is a small family oriented and a very friendly restaurant. The staffs/owners were absolutely friendly and very polite. The sandwiches were amazing, tasty and served with huge portions. The atmosphere was very welcoming, cozy and almost hole in the wall kind of setting yet located in a town square. I ordered philly steak and I almost didnt finish it with just how much they gave me. My friends had blue cheese buffalo chicken and a Reuben's sandwich which to their comments were really good and flavorful especially the buffalo chicken. They got my order wrong, didn't even correct it all the way when it came out again, and I could hear the older server (white hair) bullying the other lady about it. The older server is awful. As I was leaving, she was so reoccupied with getting to the next table she started yelling âEXCUSE MEâ over and over again as I was trying to get out of her way. Just rude and disorganized all around. I'm not sure who this older women is (hopefully not the owner) but since having this experience, I've seen multiple negative posts about her behavior.    Read moreI was biking home ( I live in lake Forest, it's a 39 minute commute) from slightly north of lake bluff when a tornado siren went off. I was biking next to lake bluff so I biked in looking for somewhere to hide from the massive storm that was moving through Chicago, and Doug told me to come inside. He took other commuters to their homes, and then came back and gave me food and drink, and took me down to the basement to hide from the storm.
