Half & Half — Restaurant in Lake Bluff

We ordered for first time tonight. Decided on creating our own with Italian sausage, sweet onion, mozzarella cheese and basil. 14” is basic size, we found it enough for two hungry people. It was absolutely delicious. My husband knows how to bake bread and this crust has a rise to it, gives you enough chew without being hard and crusty as some thin crusts can be. Sauce excellent. Sausage can be a funny beast - we found this one to be delicious. We feel it’s well worth the money and honestly can’t wait to share one at an outside table during the summer. My only minimal negative critique would be that we picked it up at designated time - it wasn’t as hot as it could be. Don’t know if a warming center needs to be had for pizzas waiting time before picked up. We found it such a delicious pizza - it did not take away from the enjoyment of our first taste! Never ever buy from this restaurant or any of their family of restaurants. They will send endless streams of emails and share your address with tons of other spam sending companies. They sell your email address and don’t care!

I’ve never eaten in your restaurant and I resent that the one place I did get carry out from is sharing my information a violation. We ordered 2 pizzas- the ‘White as Snow’ and the ‘Plain as can be.’ The first pizza was incredibly salty - much of it unfortunately went to waste. The second ‘plain’ pizza was thankfully much better, although it arrived a bit cold. I placed the order for delivery 2+ hours before the chosen delivery time and pizzas still arrived about 25 minutes late and without the napkins and utensils I also requested.
