It's a wonderful place for locals and visitors to hang out and enjoy some tasty brews from around the local area and some known players in the brewing industry. The staff makes the experience at the brewery even better. With great conversations that include local advice on what to check out to delicious selections to try at the brewery. The food from their neighborhood the Mavery is excellent and also highly recommended. If you enjoy listening to vinyl records and want to change from digital to vinyl, just ask the staff, and they'll introduce to their collect and get it going.

@teresabliving We stopped in for happy hour after and were not disappointed. They have closed the street and moved tables into the shade. It was a perfect day. You order and pay online, type in your table number, and beer and food is brought to you. It's probably not for everyone but I loved it. The shishito peppers and root beer sliders were absolutely delicious. I had a summer kolsch-tice that hit the stop. Thank you for having such great COVID precautions.

The staff are very willing to discuss the inside baseball beer brewing tips that a novice would be interested in, which makes the beer taste even better. They have a relationship with the restaurant next door and we really enjoy their food. A great choice to hang out. They also feature 3 televisions that have sports and movies depending on the night.

This place....this place is pretty cool. I really have no idea how I wound up here from Downers Grove, but I did and I'm glad! We came in on a Saturday evening and it was actually busy, but not too busy. How a place like this isn't packed to the walls every night is beyond me! It's just a small little brewery building with a few booths and a small bar. Everything they serve they've made. We each got a different beer, I had the Honey Badger. It was...SO GOOD. Definitely good enough to drive back for. We just hung around for awhile, enjoying our beers until it was time to go back to our now seemingly sad and pointless lives in the western 'burbs. Lives that will remain meaningless until it's time for our next visit to Lake Bluff...

I was really looking forward to trying this place. Well, I wish I didn’t. First, our bartender/waiter named Steven hovered next to our table, waiting for us to order. Once we ordered, we waited 45 minutes for him to ask us AGAIN (after we already ordered) if we wanted food. We ordered food 45 minutes ago…and soft pretzels for Christ sake! When the pretzels FINALLY arrived, they were trash. There was no salt and no flavor on them & the beer cheese they came with was chunky. We had to get up from our table to eventually ask for the check & get up again to hand it back to him THEN wait another 10 minutes for him to give us our card back. I was really hopeful with this place, but was highly disappointed...

I used to love this place— always great service and awesome beer. Today my sister and I waited to walk over when it opened after shopping around Lake Bluff. Walked up just after opening at 3 and the person inside didn’t unlock the door, instead they completely ignored us and made us wait outside without so much as a nod or anything. I tried calling thinking maybe they couldn’t hear us and didn’t realize it was after 3. No answer… after 10 minutes of waiting the guy walks up to the door unlocks it and just walks away, no “hey sorry, didn’t see you there waiting” or anything. Really disappointing after years of loving this place to have one bad apple working there who doesn’t care about...
