Checkers — Restaurant in Lake Charles

I came into town to visit and never had Checker's so I was drawn in by the reviews and said why not give it a try since it was 4.8 stars.

However, to my surprise, it was less than optimal.

I specifically asked for easy sauce on my Big Buford burger and the sauce was slipped on, lettuce was wilted, tomato 🍅 seemed slimy, etc. Then on the other orders, we asked for light sauce, etc.

I mean you should get what you pay for because if you were to patronize an establishment you would like superb treatment.

The best part of the meal was the drinks because it was fully carbonated.

I don't wanna give them (1) star. I was in the drive through, for over 10 minutes; no one came to the microphone. Saddest part was there were no other vehicles but me,in both directions. Therefore, I was about to leave, but my family wanted checkers. Switched to the adjacent drive through and finally someone came on. Only,thing is;she did a good job,but was rushing the order. Bad attitudes, I kept telling them I wanted the Glorilla Double Chesseburger meal. He starts yelling at me saying it's not a 5 dollar meal. I said dude OK work with me here. He sticks his head out the windows like he wants to do something. So I called him out. Then another guy comes to windows looking I called him out. Anyway I leave to go back to Hotel.
