I ate here for the first time January 2022. My husband said the food was really good. I ordered lobster stuffed salmon with cabbage (an extra side of cabbage, which was 2.50 for a smidgen) and beans, cornbread came with it. The fish was ok, a bit dry though. Cabbage and and beans tasted like what I eat at home so it was nothing I've never had. That cornbread was really rich and buttery like cake. I didn't care for it. She even took the time to share one of her favorite places in Austin that she thought my family would enjoy. Ok, so the food...this was LA soul food at it's finest. We will be back! Super service and food at very...

The oxtail, rice, and gravy was the creamiest and most succulent I've ever had. The yams were sweet and the cabbage was a little spicy but also top tier.
Note that the actual address of the restaurant is 2502 Broad St and not the one listed.
I am SO sorry Joub's is so far from...
