Linda's Lounge — Restaurant in Lake Charles

"Speedy" the bar back/cleaning machine, was frickin' AH-MAZING! From the moment my husband & I walked in & sat at the bar, we observed that he was fast and efficient at cleaning Linda's Lounge's bar patron mess left. He's wiping pool tables, pushing in chairs under tables as soon as customers left, taking out trash quickly, & in a welcoming manner at the same time. I say he should be in HIGH DEMAND around town. Give that man a raise or an awesome bonus!

Karaoke had people singing their hearts out. Enjoying every lyric we heard from their song choices.

I hadn't been here since I worked here before the change of owners & before both hurricanes. It was great to see the place clean, super organized, & still see the same smiling faces I use to years ago. Bartender immediately asked what we'd like to drink. And checking out was quick. I’ve always had an enjoyable time at Linda’s, however tonight was a different story. Me and a few coworkers (of legal age) entered this establishment after finishing our cigarettes on the front patio and proceeded to pay for a game of pool. After ordering my drink and being informed that the ATM was down (and never has money in it), I was also told that my group and I had to leave because we were smoking “weed” on the patio. While out front, I handed half of my last cigarette to one of my coworkers, who proceeded to finish, and dispose of it. We were only looking to shoot a few games of pool after work and have a couple drinks to decompress. No weed was smoked, but conclusions were jumped to. Hopefully they reach back to apologize for the misunderstanding, (and at least compensate for the game of pool) because I thoroughly enjoy the environment at...

I live about 3 road blocks from the very known establishment. Ive been there many times over the years to play pool and have a good time. I visited there a good amount of times in the last few months. The other day I went in and one of the empolyees told me the owner banned me from there. I asked why and she said she didnt know. I left owner a nice note and told her I was disabled and I work part time and was no trouble and that I always politely tip nicely to all her employees. She avoided calling me back and never called me back resolve the issue of why she couldnt come up with a realistic reason as to why she banned me. Everyones assuming that its because of my disibilities. I only order Ice Water...
