Waffle House — Restaurant in Lake Charles

The worse Waffle House we ever been to.

We walked in and everything seemed fine. Our waitress came up took our order and things were still fine.

Went down hill when she brought our drinks. She accidentally spilled my sweet tea on my very expensive iPhone 14 pro max. Which I said nothing because she went ahead and cleaned it right away. She gave us no straws. I’m not sure where her attitude got sour but she brought out our waffles undercooked. It was nothing but wet dough on a plate. My husband asked if she could remake his then I asked as well she said “y’all want them well done”? I said no I just want them cooked and I showed her the inside which was squishy. She walked away and threw the plate in the sink loud. I over heard her say she was aggravated and ready to go. Then she brings us silverware and I had food on my fork so I asked for plasticware instead she came back and said they didn’t have any. I said well can I get a clean fork she said I can give you some hot water. I looked up at her……:. And turned to him and said let’s go. We got up to leave

Sadly for her we actually tip out big lol. She has a terrible attitude and obviously hates her job lol.

Which neither are my problems. So I’m going spend my money at another Waffle House that actually gives good service. Happy...

This waffle house was so disgusting!!!! First of all my husband and I have been here several times with no problems before but today we get here the silverware was dirty. Asked for more silverware. The waiter apologized and said that no one was doing their job. We order 2 all stars, when we got our food. The grits were served cold with a slice of cheese on top. My husband asked for hash browns with chilli. She forgot his chilli then came back and said they had to make some more I had to wait on my orange juice because they were out. She said she reheated my grits and gave them to me and they were still cold!!! By the time my husband's chilli came out his hash browns and rest of food was cold! I asked for water while waiting on my orange juice, she brings me water with hair in it!!!!!!! Grossss!!!! All the waiter did was apologize and said that non of the workers wanted to do their job. But aparantly she didnt do hers either after she gave us unclean silver ware and asked us to use plastic ware because the workers dont clean the dishes. And especially after handing me a glass of water with hair in it!!!! Yuck!!!!! We did not pay for anything and we left!!!! Giving this place a 1 star rating is too high. It should be...

In the state of the world today you can expect to have to wait on service or be to served, however, this place was not busy to have to wait as long as we did just to be acknowledged as a just being there. I had to ask to have a table cleaned, so my small four person group could be seated. When we were finally seated, two customers that came after us was served first. That should have been a flag for us to go eat elsewhere, but we stayed. Once the food arrived, which was in sections, was at various temps. My order of an omelet without meat came with meat, an order of biscuits and gravy came without gravy. Overall, the food was okay, until there was a hair found on the toast. We immediately stopped eating and called for the manager. He attempted to remake, but NO, we don't do that. We didn't pay for the HAIR meal and omelet mistake. So much more happened in this visit, I would be typing for a long while..
