*Update: several restaurants in the area were recently inspected and fined for not wearing masks. As far as I know, this place was not inspected or fined.
Pizza was meh. The crust definitely wasn't made with fresh dough; it was hard, airy, like those premade frozen ones. Also it was buffalo chicken but you could hardly tell. I ended up topping it with buffalo sauce at home cuz it barely had any in it. They have a sign at the drive through telling customers they have to wear a mask, but NO ONE inside was wearing a mask. Not the cashier, not the people on the line making the food. No one. They also have a sign stating they will charge you 0.50¢ for card transactions. It was in a more convenient location for us than other places and they have a drive through which is convenient too especially if you have kids in the car. But honestly it wasn't worth it to me.
Edit for response: I don't have dozens of strangers in my home, my family doesn't have dozens of close contact with strangers on a daily basis, I'm not serving food to dozens of people out of my home, I am not handling cash or other people's debit cards, and my home does not have a food service license. So no, it's absolutely not the same.
I don't mind wearing a mask. I wear them even when I am not required because I feel respect for the people around me and would like to protect vulnerable people in case I am carrying the virus and don't know it. I do see in Section 2; Article E of the Masking Order that masks are required in food service. I would appreciate if you could provide the specific document, section, and article that exempts you from masking, as I am assuming you may be more familiar with the orders than I am. I have not been to any restaurants in the area where food service employees are not wearing masks, and that includes...
Read morehorrible service. messed up orders in the past. my husband's son really wanted their pizza for his birthday. so we thought to try again. shocker they messed up the order. we called it in.... gave them an hour to make it. ordered TWO FAMILY SPECIALS. meaning 4 large pizzas.... all four of them to have pepperoni not hard.... instead when we show up to get them they had 2 pizza ready. That's it. said they could give us 2 more but cook them at home... when asked about doing a discount cause one you guys messed the order up, 2 I have to cook them myself. got told no by the manager cause they didn't want to loose money for something they messed up. manager was rude to my husband as well. messed a whole party up. ended up having to go to dominos . hard to stay buying from local businesses when they dont care about their customers . will not recommend them. and for the manager to laugh at how upset my husband was not...
Read moreGood food, lots of choice and they keep updating their menu so it never gets stale. But they keep good stuff like their buffalo chicken sub (one of the best around). Their stuffies are also quite excellent. Just anticipate being stuffed by the end. Prices are reasonable and you get a nice cozy atmosphere. It's family run and operated and Sue is a peach. She manages to be all business yet personable and friendly at the same time; not an easy feat as a business owner and operator. They have another location down in Albion and possibly in Edinboro as well? Hours are usually different in winter than summer and you can't always get lunch but they will often take orders if they are their and not officially open (like good business owners, they don't turn away customers). Definitely a staple for lunch or...
