Manager (lady in bun) was nice. We weren’t ready to have our order taken yet so we let her take Drive Thru order. She took our order and things were okay. We did not clarify Large drink instead of Large fry so we asked her to swap with a drink size of same price. She agreed (thank you).
However, issues arose with the food. I got 2 for 5$ Sausage Croissants and the bread felt like they had been left for hours and reheated. I didn’t mind too much because I was craving the sausage and egg more than the bread so I just threw them out.
*Nonetheless, the 2 Jr Bacon CB meat patties were really dry, burnt, and cold. My brother asked to have them fresh if possible and showed them the receipt. The guy in the kitchen (he didn’t have his name tag on, but originally saw him in kitchen), took them back and the receipt (which he threw out immediately). Maybe it’s his normal face but I saw his face distort to annoyed.
When we got the next set, my brother asked for a reprint of the receipt (image shown). The meat was the same, but the bun was heated up this time. I thought maybe it’s how their grill works, but mom and I work in fast food so we kind of know how it’s supposed to look. My mom took back one of the burgers, not noticing the meat at the top, and asked about it (our mistake). He pointed it out with another annoyed frown and aggressive tone.
My mom also asked about replacing our cold fries that we hadn’t really touched. Maybe they have different policies, but the same kitchen guy said he couldn’t do anything.
We ended up leaving shortly thereafter and throwing away the food.
Nevertheless, the female worker deserves some recognition. She advocated for my brother when the kitchen guy was asking him how he wanted his burger. He’s retorted “You wanted it plain right? How you ordered it?” And the lady pitched in, “No, it was no mayo with ketchup. I took their order.” She was nice throughout it.
My mom also noticed that she was the one running around mostly, taking orders front, drive thru, cash, bagging, and occasionally helping kitchen. She overheard the same guy who threw out our receipt, couldn’t do anything for the fries, etc. that he “added mayonnaise to the burger because [he] was talking to you (the coworker).” In other words, he was distracted and played around with another kitchen person while the lady waited on them.
Otherwise store was kinda neat and comfortable.
Edit: PS Faijita was REALLY GOOD so I’d go to the RSM (my usual...
Read moreUnder normal circumstances I would give this place a four stars. Normally they're pretty decent but this review is for this visit so: I came here for a late night visit and like many of the local fast food places some of the late-night people aren't the greatest. The drive-through girl was not very good. I was getting quite annoyed with her. I spoke clearly yet she kept making mistakes and just wasn't getting it. I pulled up to the window to talk to her some more and it was the same thing so I know it wasn't the drive-through speaker. Maybe it was her listening comprehension or perhaps it was so busy she was totally out of focus but she kept making mistakes and just not really listening to me and understanding what I'm saying. She also got in robot mode and it was something like for instance asking me if I want ketchup or other condiments and I said no two or three times to that same question she still tossed it in the bag before handing it to me. So I think the issue is she just wasn't really listening. There was enough instances in this visit to annoy me into giving them one less...
Read moreHorrible horrible horrible. I have not come to jack in a long long time. My mom wanted to go try it and I said sure. Ordered sourdough jack and curly fries. The curly fries WERE stale and all end pieces broken up. I had 1 fry that was actually curly the rest were broken off pieces that were hard and stale. Then the sourdough jack. The bread was extremely dry. My fav bread is sourdough and im not sure if this was actually that. Mom got tacos and tried one and that was the worst taco of my life. Greasy and extremely smooshed so flat that there was a hole on the side of the shell and everything was coming out of the soggy greasy hole. Im sorry but this is absolutely no where close to what they advertise at all. Girl at the counter was sweet but that was the only good thing I can say about this place. Food rating F. I hope I do not end up with a stomach ache with the little amount I had. For a 10 dollar hamburger meal id say I do not EVER RECOMMEND...
