We did not have a positive experience when I tried to support this business. I was not respected and neither was my family structure, as she pushed up on the father of my child after attempting to put me down in front of him (toxic mean girls style).
Her business promotes health but Miss Banister was HIGHLY insensitive to my failing health at the time, which is what she used to, passive aggressively, demean me in front of my family.
After passively demeaning me, she verbally invited us over to her house where she also said she'd cook (directly after verbally insinuating my child's father was with me for my cooking, and not in a "go girl" kinda way. As if that's all I have to offer. Another covert verbal assault) in the name of "community" and said it would be a double date... Like really?
She then hit me up on social media to set a date to "double date" (after proclaiming to be single and not dating anyone?? Ummm, ok.). How did I suddenly go from unwelcomed to being invited over for a cooked meal? Pick one Ms. Bani.
In my experience, her sunny disposition is a cover for false confidence, thriving in putting ppl down to seem taller. This character type is deteriorating so this review is important to share.
If you're going to be working with the public, you're going to create a decent experience by respecting EVERY patron. You most certainly will not be able to spoil the reputation of black owned businesses with selective unprofessionalism.
I mean, imagine telling your significant other great things about a person & going to support their business, only to be treated in this way in return. A blatant slap in the face. If I was as nasty as she was, I would have made a scene then and there but like Mrs. Obama said, "When they go low, we go high."
When later confronted, she tried to gaslight me and say that it didn't happen when my child's father and I BOTH felt so uncomfortable, we left without even trying her product... Again, sad.
Her focus should have been on her product or health or something other than positioning herself as the "better option" for a guy who came with his family. The desperate attempt to tear apart a black family with zero regard for my child was truly disheartening & disgusting.
I'm not sure why this brand pops up on google when I google search my business name but I have already directly requested this clout chasing issue to be fixed, to no avail (this is now the third time).
I hate to resort to this but I want ZERO affiliation with this brand. PLEASE TAKE US OUT OF YOUR SEO on Facebook as well as your website & REFRAIN FROM CONNECTING YOUR BUSINESS AND ENERGY WITH MINE AT ONCE. Further legal action will ensue, as I have already tried mitigating this issue directly with the owner to no av.
Being rude & unprofessional is one thing but it's down right disgusting to also use my business and website in your metadata and SEO.
To my clients who may be redirected here because of Bani's SEO & Metadata, understand that we value integrity & we are NOT affiliated with this company and never will be.
I hate that I have to resort to appearing as tacky as Ms. Banister's actions but I'm at my wits end & she needs to be held accountable for her actions, as it was entirely too easy for her to be this type of person & it's not ok. Ever.
How dare you sit on women empowerment panels.
A real man will NEVER go for the woman who tried to push up on him in front of his family. Not if she's vegan, healthier or jam packed with false confidence.
I pray to God for the healing in my body, as well as the healing in your mind.
Try being nice to yourself so you can always spread that to your future customers. Imagine serving God (if you're a believer) and it should be a breeze. You often work with the sick, in your line of business. Get used to it or this probably won't be the last review of this kind.
If this thesis hasn't been clear enough, I'll pass on Bani's Beets indefinitely... Not worth the disrespect or crazy making...
Read moreAfter taking my morning walk today I decided to visit Bani’s Beets. They had been on my list of local black owned businesses to visit for a while. Upon arriving I walked into a clean and neat environment which for me was an immediate plus because I have a compromised immune system. A dirty entrance and waiting area is an immediate red flag for me. All three women were friendly, attentive and wearing masks! A second plus for the business. I ordered the Avocado Toast and 8 oz. Morning Glory Juice for me and the Blueberry Beet Smoothie for my mother. There was a minimal wait time and everything was made fresh. I will definitely be returning! 😊 The Avocado Toast was absolutely delicious. It was fresh, light, with just the right amount of heat from the jalapeños and the combined textures of the ingredients made it totally satisfying. The Morning Glory Juice was refreshing and a perfect after walk replenishment. And my mother who turns her nose up at anything healthy, and only wants milkshakes loaded with ice cream, drank every last drop of her smoothie and kept commenting on how good it was. That was when I knew we had found a new favorite. PLEASE keep doing things professionally and purposefully. So many businesses start skimping on the integrity of ingredients and slack on customer service once they have an established customer base. Thank you for bringing such healthy and wonderful food to our community. I hate it took me so long to visit. But I will definitely be...
Read moreI have lived in East Beverly for 2 years and I recently noticed this place off the beaten path of 103rd St. I felt like a stroll this morning and finally checked this place out. It's AWESOME! Ari and Sam were so warm and kind. They have such a variety of fresh, cold pressed juices and smoothies. I tried watermelon and beet with ginger juice. I left with an awesome coconut blu smoothie. Both drinks had other healthy adds to them. Check out the menu! I wanted to buy one of each 😆. Lovely place, delicious, fresh items prepared for you by 2 lovely ladies. Made my day....
