La Haciendita Taquería Restaurant — Restaurant in Lake Township

This use to be my neighborhood place to buy Mexican food from. We knew the staff and they knew my family because we attended so often. I usually got the SAME thing evry single time I order a pick order and they would ALWAYS say they couldn't do it or had to ask the cooks evry single time even thought they knew me and knew that I ordered the same thing. I just wanted Green Chicken Enchiladas with cheese and they always said they couldn't. How hard is it to put cheese with the chicken mix? After many times of going through that and often giving me the wrong order or charging me wrong items I had had it. I talk to the owner which we know and he said he was going to talk to his staff. Nothing change. About a week ago I ordered the same thing plus a Gordita de rajas with cheese and they forgot the cheese in the enchiladas once again. I decided to eat them because I was hungry and was too much hassle to go back once again for the same reason. I decided to call and told them that it had happen again. No cheese in my enchiladas. Once I was eating it I was giving my two year old bites off the Gordita until I took a big bite and felt something very hard. I looked at the Gordita and could not believe what I saw. There was a HUGE SCREW ABOUT AN INCH BIG IN MY GORDITA MIXED IN WITH THE CHEESE AND RAJAS!!! I got worried because my wife threw up about 20 min later after eating her gordita and I had a very strong stomach pain. I went to the doctor and later had some x-rays done to see if I had ingested any other particles or objects that may have cause my stomach pain. Luckily nothing was found but the food did give me the stomach flu. Thank God my son didn't eat much and didnt get sick or had taken a bite where the screw was!! I called the place and talked to the owner and he didn't seemed worried and or surprised. He just said they would give me the same order for free again even though I had spoken to him before about all the mistakes his staff has made before with us. My father-in-law found a ball of hairs in one of his tacos last year. It's not the first time we find something weird in the food there. Please be careful and inspect your food if you buy from this place. My family, and my wife's family all have decided to never eat there again. It's a shame we really liked the food and tried to over see the negative things but it was just too much. I initially had given it 5 stars a long time ago but now I give them 1 star if I could I would give them a rating of 0. Hope this...

I came here before, and the service was great and the food was great. Today I had to hold my tongue before saying anything rude to the waitress. Whoever greeted us sat us down and told us our waitress will be coming shortly. They took almost 15 minutes until I asked someone “where is our waitress”. It ended up being the same person I asked who was just filling up, sauces next to us and didn’t even bother introducing herself, then the food came and the chicken in the enchiladas tasted like it was reheated and burnt. We also ordered the corn and omg it was not grilled right. How can they make that mistake lol so simple. The waitress came to our table two times the whole hour we were there. Anyway. I went here ordered to go My enchiladas looked like dog food and barely had any chicken in them I took a few bites & decided to say something before I left They told me that’s how the food comes Opened my enchiladas up to see if there’s enough meat in em Then proceeded to hand it back to me without a bag Fork or salsa I gave them the bag fork and salsa I used to work at a Mexican restaurant We won mole de mayo Just cause I didn’t look the part doesn’t mean I don’t know what I’m talking about We would have NEVER EVER let that leave the kitchen The lady in front said that’s how they come and didn’t offer a solution.
