Legends Chicken & Fish — Restaurant in Lake Township

One thing I can depend on with legends is REAL catfish. Not swai aka baby shark 🤣 The fried catfish is a hit. Seasoned really good and fried to protection depending on who’s cooking it. The portions are a bit questionable as they split the filet down the middle and half of a filet counts for one piece of fish. The young guy who may be the owners son does a good job, so does the guy who’s in the pictures on the wall. I assume he’s the owner. There’s a cook who’s there sometimes middle age almost bald I can never see his face but I don’t like the way he fries my fish. I like a good crunch, not soft. The chicken is just chicken, nothing to fly a kite about. The coleslaw is pretty good. Sometimes they have catfish tails, nice meaty pieces but it definitely depends on who’s frying it. They somehow forgot my 10 wing dinner in the order and the lady said she’d write my name down so I can come back another day. Guess what? I go back the next day excited to give them another chance. The woman at the counter is clueless. No name was written down. The food was cold the first time, mild sauce tasted funny, and you failed to honor your word? These restaurants need a revamp in customer service and more competent cooks that actually care. They’ve lost not just one customer but they will not be recommended by me to anyone. Omg I give this restaurant ten stars!!!!!
