Seashell Restaurant on 59th — Restaurant in Lake Township

1st, I ordered online. The order was not ready at pickup time. The restaurant was dirty, trash on the floor. Staff did not look presentable. The clerk was not knowledgeable. She was pleasant. I asked for hot n mild sauce. She said it was "self serve". I wanted to cancel, but I had prepaid, so I was hoping everything would be okay. No, it was not. The chicken was not good. I ordered the Special 4 thighs and 4 legs for $4.00. I wasted my money. The legs looked like party drums. I was trying to figure it out. I wound up throwing both orders away. I'm contemplating disputing the charge, but since it wasn't much, I'll just consider it lesson learned.

Oh yeah. The trash was overflowing, and one of the guys dropped the brown bags on the floor. He literally picked them up and put them back on the shelf. No, he didn't pick anything else up off...

This was COMPLETELY HORRIBLE…. I ate from this location many of times but tonight was unbelievable whoever the cooks are were rushing and did not cook our meals to the fullest because my 2 YEAR OLD TODDLER has been throwing up chicken…this was his meal before bedtime so i was worried because he didn’t have anything else i will NEVER be eating at this location again simply because the cooks caused my baby to throw up… he loves chicken and has never thrown up off of chick before but when i feed him this locations food now my son isn’t feeling well , completely disappointed i wasted my money, and not to mention they got my partners order wrong and his chicken was under...

I arrived at this location at 10:20 p.m. after calling a head of time to check if they we’re still open seeing how their hours of operation say they are open until 11pm but the 69th & Ashland location had just denied me service saying they were closed at 10:10 pm. I drove from 69th to the 59th location on for the cook to tell me he had closed and would not serve me. The food is good but this type of misguided service has left a very bad taste in my mouth. It’s currently 10:45 pm at the time this review was posted. I ended up eating Nick’s on 63rd and Damen whom seems to honor their hours of operation. Get it together Seashell. You can do better.
