Employees aren't ready or trained well enough for the technological changes happening in the store. Kiosks aren't up to date with their current menu. It offers products for customers to older when no longer available or out of season. The staff looks like chickens with their heads cut off. At one point there were 8 different employees, including at least 1 manager, trying to figure out the same issue at the warmer. Took three times as long as before to checkout after introducing the kiosks. Employees didn't know how to refund when a customer used a kiosk and the employees got the order wrong three times. The entire dining room was filthy, floors not swept or mopped, the tables were extremely dirty with lots of sticky spots. The 4 tables we attempted to sit down were absolutely filthy and finally gave up and washed the 5th table we tried. An employee was walking around "wiping" multiple tables without rinsing the cloth or using cleaning products on the tables and leaving multiple spots or leftover food crumbs/ sticky spots on multiple tables and then proceeded to wipe the trash respectical with the same cloth, then used the same cloth to wipe down more tables, and then used the same dirty cloth to wipe down the trays and then put new paper place mats on the trays. It took a manager three attempts to get our order correct and correct our receipt to the proper amount...charged debt card original amount, refunded 2 dollars in cash for their error, and then gave alternate sandwich for free. They still over charged for two orders of chicken nuggets when only ordered one and two honey mustard sauces. Another concern is that kiosks don't give receipts or proof of your order. So even after all the headache I still don't know what was charged to my card or if I was charged or refunded the correct amount and was never given the corrected order, payment charged, if amount refunded was correct. This is the second updated McDonald's I've been to in a month and both had very similar conditions, concerns, and outcomes. It's a pretty sad state right now. Hopefully with correct training, correct management, and follow through by regional managers/ leadership, they can make sure that all McDonald's are all working like a well oiled company and keeping all customers happy, content, and full for many years to come. Change is hard but made easier with...
Read moreI don't know the guy from Adam, I've never encountered him anywhere but the drive-through window at this McDonald's (usually) and another that was lucky to borrow him temporarily. But I can tell you, A.J. is a reason to come get breakfast in the mornings. It's McDonald's Breakfast... sometimes the hashbrowns are a little fresher, sometimes a little less, always good enough for me, but not necessarily "better" than any other McD's food. What makes this location standout is the always cheerful, incredibly clear-voiced and easy to understand, whether over the speaker or face to face, polite, and personable (which he pulls off, while still keeping everyone moving thru the drive thru at a good speed) professional in the window. If you told me he was the owner of this company, working just because he cares that much about his customers and their experience, or that he is in fact the #1 drive-thru operator in McDonald's entire corporation, I would still not be a bit suprised. This guy has what nobody has anymore. . . Pride in doing a job well! He doesn't just do it good, or good enough... When A.J. is working, it is obvious, because he does it so well, you simply KNOW it has to be him. I sincerely hope the company realizes and recognizes what they have in him, and pays him accordingly. If not, I could easily picture him as the lead trainer for all drive through workers in almost any other environment as long as they payed him the kind of wage a worker of his caliber deserves. Thanks...
Read moreThe sign on the door says that the dining room is open until 8PM. We came in at 7:30, used the restroom, and ordered. I ordered chicken nuggets that I eat with honey because I planned on eating in the dining room. After we ordered and started getting our drinks and condiments, the food was being prepared we were then told that they dont allow anyone to sit in the dining room after 7:30 because they already cleaned. I explained that no one told us anything until after we ordered and I ordered something I cannot eat in the car. I was told so sorry but thats the rules. There were two other customers in the dining room consuming goods but they were allowed to stay because it was “just coffee”. The way this was handled was EXTREMELY POOR. Nowhere is it posted that no one is allowed to sit after 7:30, and we were not told until after we ordered. There is no outdoor seating so I had to sit on the curb. I have worked at restaurants and we were never allowed to clean before the restaurant was closed and tell people they werent allowed to sit because we already cleaned. I expect to be compensated for my inconvenience and for something to be done to rectify this issue...
