This review is for the reserved tea room experience.

I consider myself a tea connoisseur. A lover of fresh tea and the tea experience. A pinky finger sticking out while slipping on the flavors of comfort.

I booked this spot to bring my girlfriend from Antioch, IL. (Wisconsin) Although we talk on the phone, online and text, we haven't seen each other in person in a few years. I've always wanted to do high tea and thought that would be great for us to catch up, since we both enjoy tea.

Imagine my surprise when I found a place on the south side and black owned!! I had her bypass the places downtown and come to the south side to experience this place.

This place is everything, I imagined it to be. The tea selection is great! The service and explanation about the tea is top notch. And our server was 19 years old telling us about the teas! (Thanks Kameryn!!)

My only recommendation is to add a thin fresh lemon slice in a circle as not a wedge. A wedge is too big. That would add to the daintiness.

Although I reserved the tea room, the other side of the shop is just as beautiful. I will definitely be back to drink tea and chill on my own!

After seeing a post on Instagram, I immediately decided to book an Afternoon Tea session. Upon arrival, I was captivated by the vibrant colors and serene atmosphere—it was absolutely stunning. Amari greeted us warmly and escorted us to the Afternoon Tea room. The space was beautifully decorated with colorful accents and elegant glass tea sets adorning each table.

The tea menu was extensive, with options thoughtfully categorized by type. The room exuded a cozy yet upscale ambiance, though I couldn’t help but feel a bit underdressed. We each selected three teas, which were served alongside a delightful assortment of cheese and crackers, as well as turkey, tuna, and chicken sandwiches.

The experience was truly exceptional—both unique and enjoyable. The service was impeccable, and the teas were bursting with flavor. The variety of options was impressive, making it a paradise for any tea enthusiast. The owner even stopped by to greet us, and her warm spirit and deep knowledge of teas left a lasting impression.

I booked an afternoon tea for my girlfriend as a post birthday present. She loved it. It was amazing. We met the owner, Leslie, who was just so welcoming. She introduced us to our servers Ashley and Armaree who were super attentive. They first course was a spread of various cheese and crackers. We paired it with pomegranate tea. The tea was recommended and my girlfriend's eyes lit up when she tasted it. The next course was a spread of sandwiches, all of which were delicious. This course came with a side of fresh mixed fruit. The last course was chocolate dipped Oreos, cake pops, and homemade turtles. During our stay we were presented with various teas available for pairing and for sale. This was a great intro to the immense selection. Armaree put on some nice light music. Ashley was very knowledgeable about the tea we selected, and offered a lot of information to help with our pairings. The atmosphere was amazing. I loved the decor. We have been telling all our friends and family about the experience and we now intend to get a larger group together to share this wonderful gem.
