Great customer service and the even better food. A bit pricey, but you do get a good amount of fish for the price (enough for three people.) There's no combos or anything like that. There doesn't seem to be any included fries (although he offered crackers.) Fish is battered and fried fresh. Took about five minutes to deep fry and get it to me. Comes out perfectly dry and the oil looks/tastes clean for the most part. They have a few homemade sauces as well (don't think they have tartar, just BBQ, hotsauce and mild sauce.) Been loving the Chicago style jumbo shrimp here for the past year. Just a hint of garlic is the key. Today I bought a pound and a half of Chicago style jumbo shrimp and a perch dinner. The shrimp were delicious but the breading tasted bland. Not the usual tasty breading. More like plain bread crumbs that you get at other places. Fries and coleslaw were great but the perch was terrible. Kind of like frozen fish you make yourself. Cardboard like. It was the more expensive perch too. Maybe the cook didn’t see the Chicago style on the ticket. I don’t know....

I love shrimp. This place has really good breaded shrimp. The breading is not too thick and it's nicely even and crispy. A lot of places cut the shrimp down the middle so there is more surface area for the breading. Therefore your paying for more breading and less shrimp. Not here, you get the whole shrimp and even the regular size shrimp are really big. They alao take the tail off and de-vein!
