Sal's Pizza & Authentic Mexican Food — Restaurant in Lake Township

This was our first time to Sal's and it won't be out last. Their Mexican food is Authentic as their name states. We tried several items because we wanted to sample as much as possible.

The Torta Al Pastor was sooooo good and very filling. The Beef Butrito was tasty and had plenty of meat along with the fixings. We also tried their chicken tacos and were pleasantly surprised. We will order all of these items again but we do want to try their pizza one day.

All the items we ordered were good portions and their prices are very fair for the dishes.

The customer service from the Sarah was great, very attentive and provided service with a smile. She kept checking back making sure we had everything we needed. The owners came by the table and asked if we enjoyed our meal. This is something all other restaurant owners should do so they can get feedback from their customers.

The food is great and smells so good that even though you weren't in the area of the restaurant to eat, you will be filled with their food shortly after you come across the smell of the food!!! I am not a big fan of the fact that you are not allowed to park in the first 2 parking spots, which is very inappropriate for the customers since they only have 3 parking spots to begin with. I understand if you are not eating there or attending to that particular place but come on the owner can give up their front door parking spots for the customers to be able to be at ease with getting out of the car and walking to the door. One of the girls got me to try a fish taco for the first time, then we ordered different kinds of tacos, guac, and a cheeseburger. During the pretty short wait, I was really hoping for everything to be good because I was liking the people, they were very friendly, good sense of humor, and looked like they work good together in the kitchen.

Now the part that matters. I will now order fish tacos more often, as they were surprisingly good. And both my kids said "100 out of 100" (their words). This will be a regular spot for us. 3 picky people in a family of 4 all agreeing is a rarity. We'll get deeper into the menu next time but I'll recommend...
