After a long day, Nicky V’s is the perfect place to kick back and indulge in some seriously good food. I ordered the Maxwell Style Polish Sausage, and let me tell you—it got it.

The polish sausage was everything you want from a classic Maxwell Street-style dog. The first bite had that perfect snap, releasing a rush of rich, smoky flavor that instantly hit my taste buds. It was grilled to perfection, with just the right amount of char on the outside, giving it a subtle crispiness while keeping the inside incredibly juicy. The seasoning was spot on, savory, garlicky, and deeply satisfying.

Topped with a generous pile of golden caramelized onions, the flavors came together in perfect harmony. The onions were soft, slightly sweet, and bursting with that deep, griddled flavor that only comes from a well-seasoned flat top. Such a disappointment...my first time here... after seeing all the videos i couldn't wait to try them... got the gyro dinner plate allot of the gyro meat was burnt the tomatoes looked old an were soggy the onions were just thrown in the plate as if the cook just hurried the preparation.. the young cashier rushed me to take my order just all around disappointing the fries in the pics have a nice color to them needless to say my fries were more brown an not at all like the pics an videos they advertise I'LL NEVER GIVE THEM MY BUSINESSES AGAIN i literally left the plate after eating one pita the sauce for the pita was runny i can't belive it the owner seems to take pride in their establishment but i must say a very awful first impression an the owners image to me is definitely false advertising ... what a waste of money food and time...

Person behind the counter was very nice, not that a lot of interaction was required. I got the breaded steak sandwich. It was wrapped 3 times in paper / foil and weighed about the same as a brick. It was too messy to try to attempt to eat like a normal sandwich. The bottom layer of wrapping (paper / foil) becomes almost 'one' with the roll, since the roll basically disintegrated very quickly. The meat is too tough to cut with a plastic knife and fork, so I had to try and re-wrap the mushy roll so I could take mushy (yet tough) bites and try not to eat the mushy foil. Mind you I picked up and drove about 4 blocks. Fries were clearly re-fried a couple of times - even after the trip they were still crispy. Very dark, very greasy for "home cut" (guessing the multiple times dropped in the fryer). Would...
