I love the food and coming here, but ever since the restaurant expanded with the new building the service has been awful. I didn’t believed my dad when he told me that the service isn’t the same as before making your wait forever to get seated or have your order taken. It’s reasonable that when there’s a lot of people the order is going to take forever, but as for when to be seated when there’s tables available and a sign says, “wait to be seated” they ignore you and wont ask you, if it’s for dine in or take out. I recently went with my boyfriend to dine in and it took them a while for them to ask me and my boyfriend if it was for dine in or take out. When the cashier lady told us to sit at the first table by the entrance, was expecting for her to communicate with her coworkers to take us some menus and service. Although, instead we waited for minutes, like two crazy people sitting there looking at the waitress to take us the service to order right away, but instead she just kept ignoring and passing right by us. Never asked if we were going to dine in. That’s not until 2 guys, and family of 3 and a couple came in and she sat them down to the tables. Making us wait longer for later when the couple was sat next to us got menus and we looked at the waitress and she started laughing and asked us if we needed menus. We said yes, but was expecting for her to say if we wanted anything to drink at least but instead she just gave us the menus and started taking the order of the couple when me and my boyfriend were there first. I didn’t see what was so funny to her every time she kept looking at our way and then ignoring us. We then decided not to eat because of the awful service. Maravatio you guys need to work on your service and get waitresses that don’t laugh at people for no reason because you never know if they are going...
Read moreI came today around 650 pm, and I was able to get a table within 10-15 min wait so we were good. then I order my drinks and also still ok waiting time. But then when I order my food I waited around 40 min for it. I ask the waitress what was going on with the food. And she she said she didn't know. After she ask, they apparently told her the food had been given out already. Which was not true. After asking again within 5 min between the cook and the waitress she said our food was coming. They tried to cover up by offering some avocado with chips again. Which we didn't wanted any appetizers we wanted our food we were so hungry that during the waiting time our hunger had kind of past away already. So our food was delivered to our table we ate what we could. When we it came to our bill our bill was like 91 Dollars and some change we ask if we can have some discount on the bill, the cashier said no that they couldn't do anything about that. That next time call and reserve a table with our food to be ready. Overall I never had this situation before at the old restaurant, but just the fact that they took so long on our food and not being able to give us a discount upsets me. I'm not a happy camper today. To the owner I believe that the customer is always right and that we should try to keep a customer and not lose a...
Read moreWent there today for lunch as usual. While eating, my group noticed a cockroach walking up the wall. We immediately got up and gathered our stuff and left. We did mention it to one of the waitress and she just said oh. No apology or anything (made us wonder based on her response if this is something normal for them). Later, a call was made to the manager at Maravatio and there was no apology or concern in regards to what was mentioned. According to the conversation this is normal and they have been trying to get under control. According to the manager they have a contract with pest control and they have not been able to manage it. Over the all the phone interaction was hostile and no disregard to our concerns because according to the second shift manager they are not the only restaurant that has this issue. Personally if I am paying for something I do not want to see a cockroach walking up the wall...
