I decided to come to the restaurant because I had family visiting from Mexico and they were looking to have dinner a sing. I had several friends that would tell me to go there on Friday because they have karaoke. I never went due to the location and I would pass by and it always looked empty. Any ways I was convinced to go on this day. We arrived and it was dead, about 7 pm. I was told the music starts at 6 pm. Ok, well it's us girl's wer will be fine. There was no one to attend us, I started talking out loud "¿estas abierto al público?" And one of the mesera answer "si, pase le donde gusten". So we did. Out waitress was nice, took care of us right away. It was 5 of us, we placed our drink order, appetizer and as few minutes later our dinner order. O was in fue mood for enchiladas. But I wanted enchiladas estilo Michoacán. And looking thru the menu there they were, I said to my self well it's going to be a good dinner. When the good arrived looked delicious. However it wasn't all that. The platillo, came with 3 enchiladas estilo Michoacán, costillas de res, frijoles y arroz. The enchiladas were good, but the costillas were not. It was like the nezt was cooked, sitting out and then fried because someone (me) ordered them. They were greasy tasted, old, like old oil. Ughh, nasty I could not eat it. More people arrived. You can tell they are regulars, and about 9 pm the music and karaoke started. We all started singing, dancing and had great laughs. Drinks are good and they kept coming. I will return and planning on taking my mom and tías. Probably will not order food but -yes to appetizers because they have charales! They...
Read moreI would not recommend this place. My brother in law had a filete empanizado and it was raw in the middle, the waitress tried to tell us that’s how it comes out inside sometimes and it’s still okay to eat. So food poisoning is okay? She also tried to guilt us by saying since he ate half she couldn’t do anything. I didn’t realize we had to inspect our food to make sure it is thoroughly cooked. To add to it, we had $32.45 added automatically for gratituity, I understand we were a big party, but we were not even informed of it being added which is not okay because on top of it we left a $25 tip on the table, since the service was okay at best. And the waitress was not even going to give us the receipt or the change, until we were leaving and we asked for it. She had it in her apron automatically assuming it was hers when there was a tip on the table, unless you’re told keep the change do not assume it is yours. I am a waitress as well and would have never acted as poorly as she did. The food was great, but their attitudes were not. You should always double check your receipt before leaving this place, we were extremely disappointed by such poor manners and would not...
Read moreGood food, big portions at reasonable prices. They have a free parking lot with limited parking and a few wheelchair accessible parking spots. You can also park on the street The service was very good, they kept our coffee cups and water glasses full at all times. Even though, the place was close to full capacity, we didn't have to wait too long to get our food. Some of my favorite dishes are the "Mayan Combination" and the "Huevos Aporreados Con Salsa Verde." The other thing that sets them apart from most other places is the hand made tortillas. I also love the idea that I don't have to bring a lot of cash. You can pay with a credit card, without incurring extra fees. Yes! They don't charge you any extra fees for using a credit card. They still have unlimited free...
