Want to love this place. The design and concept are really great. Food is tasty and interesting -- perfect evalated bar food.

Staff are polite, but could use some service training. Multiple times, different staff, even when it's practically deserted, it can be hard to get the bartender's attention, even while standing at the bar. Even when they're not busy, the bartender doesn't bring over drinks or food -- you'll have to get up to get it.

Most recent visit, with only five people there, I stood three minutes to order a beer, waited five at my table while it was being poured (though maybe keg had to be changed or something), then another two standing at the bar to have it taken from the tap and handed to me.

The Pacman machine needs quarters, but they only had a couple dollars' worth in the register.

Ultimately, all this leads to smaller check sizes.

It's good. Just so frustrating to see it fall...

I have celiac disease, which means I can't have gluten whatsoever or else I become violently ill and my body triggers an autoimmune response that damages my intestines. This made planning my wedding even more challenging. After visiting Kite String with my fiancé, we decided to reach out to them to book their bar out for 2 hours for us and our guests. Not only was it an amazing deal, the food was so delicious and the drinks were amazing. We even had a build your own nacho bar! The service was phenomenal, we were so well taken care of, they even set out our cakes after we were done eating and put on our own playlist from spotify. All of my guests had such a great time and said it was the best part of the day! My only regret is not booking them for longer because truthfully it was the highlight of the day and later on I wish...

Great casual hang for good cocktails, excellent craft beer selection, and homemade taquitos. Their rotating “bubblers” which are pre mixed simple cocktails are dangerously good as is their on tap margs (watermelon mezcal marg… wow) and sangria.

The service is some of the nicest and they definitely add to the casual, come as you are vibe. Not really a late night spot as they close around 11, but that’s the vibe they give off.

In addition to the great bar service, the staff also curates a weekly food club which is a big box of locally sourced groceries. Some of the boxes I’ve enjoyed have been a DIY pork milanesa, Turkey mole, and pozole. Just a wonderful service to the community to be able to promote local farms and...
