Food was good; however, I was not too pleased with the management staff. A couple of weeks ago, I had stopped to dine in on my lunch break and had brought my 5 month old puppy with me (after asking if it was permitted). As most dog owners do when they have their dog on a patio, I secured my dog's leash to the gate and there were no issues. Upon returning from dropping my dishes inside and bringing my dog some more water to refill his bowl, a lady was coming in to warn me about the gate being unsecure. As I walked outside to try to get my dog, the gate fell on his back and he ran a bit. Though the gate was not super heavy, it did have some weight and my dog was only 30 lbs. Upon closer inspection of the gate, I noticed that it was only secured with 1 rusty screw that clearly wasn't enough, and it was not secure on either side (the panel). An employee came out and told me that the gate had fallen the day before (which to me is unacceptable because if it's a known danger, at the very least, why wasn't there a sign?). She also told me that management knew about it and hasn't done anything to fix it. Since I was parked out front, I offered to get my toolbag and secure the fence since I told her it fell on my dog and that it's a safety issue (it could fall on someone's toddler, or baby or pet) and I'm a handyman. I go to my truck and grab my toolbag and get to work on the gate using my own equipment. The employee stood out there but I told her that she didn't have to stay there (since I knew she was on the clock). She thanked me for doing work on my lunch break. Which was fine. I had 2 screws left and this other guy comes out (don't even know if he was management or what) and says, "hey, my assistant manager wants you to stop fixing the fence because if you get hurt, we don't want to be responsible". I tell him that the fence fell on my dog so it's a bit late for that. As well as the fact that it happened just the day before. And he just told me that he would tell his manager that it fell on my dog but stop working on it. And he also said that he didn't know why the patio rental place gave them equipment without the proper equipment (which is of no fault to any diners or anyone but the restaurant). Either way, I packed up my tools and my dog and just left. Flabbergasted. I was just blown away by the lack of customer service. Why did the manager or assistant not come and talk to me directly? The 1st employee I spoke to was very polite and had great customer service, but, after that, it was not good. I wasn't after a free meal or anything. I just was concerned that it happened already, happened again the next day to me, and that no efforts were made to hang a sign or let people know...
Read moreI had a catering order for this location on Thursday I arrived 6 minutes earlier as I'm instructed to do by the company I walk in and let the tall lady with the head wrap that I'm there to pick up a catering order (because I wasn't greeted) she replies in a dismissive nasty way "it's not ready" I let her know that the departure time was 11:02, she didn't respond with an update on when the food would be ready and at this point it was about 10:58.she began placing pan's on the counter at 11:00 I assumed it was more food because she didn't tell me this is the whole order, instead she says "I would start walking these to your car" which I found disrespectful because I don't work for her or the company. I kept my composure and didn't react I gathered what she placed out and waited to see if she would have the food ready at the departure time, she didn't I walked the items to my car came back it was 11:08 at this time and all the food still wasn't ready. The last tray of food was brought out 10 mins after the time I was supposed to be gone which runs in to my time of delivery. She never Apologized for the food being late or thanked me poor customer service and on top of that made my delivery late and she placed the mac and cheese on the bottom of the bag with a heavy tray on top causing the cheese to leak everywhere which I had to help the customer clean up. The lady in charge that day again had a head wrap on was tall and could have middle eastern I did not see her name tag, horrible experience she shouldn't be in charge very rude...
Read moreSo this establishment gets a 4star only because of the cashier (Esther) redeeming the location from other workers not putting their best foot forward even if it is closing time. My order wasn’t what I expected and when I brought it to Esthers’ attention, she quickly responded and resolved the situation and also added a complimentary side salad to appease my dissatisfaction. Now on the other hand where I would have given this individual a 1 star is the shift manager named Terrance. While at the register, I over heard the manager demeaning the cashier informing her that what she did should have been approved by a manager. I stood there in shock as I continued to hear him attempt to coach her while in front of me. Now rather than he come to me as the customer and ask what happened (being that he’s a manager that needed to approve the transaction), he did the opposite and never acknowledged my issue. Instead he continued to go about his closing checklist while cussing (heard him say damn) under his breath because he kept forgetting what he had to do; perhaps still upset at said cashier. Thank you Esther for dealing with him the way you did and your excellent customer service. I’ll also be following up with the GM informing him of...
