I had been recommended to try. One and done. Blackened grouper dinner was mushy and low on flavor. From both the fresh fish aspect as well as spices. Never had blackened like this. Mushy. Not tasting fresh. Uninspired. The shrimp side order was undercooked, mushy, and hanging in wounded broken soggy pieces. Hush puppies were unimpressive and probably a mass produced packed frozen bag item. Garlic bread was anything but. Some sort of grilled slathered gummy thing. Even salad was only a partial win with over -refrigerated mushy tomatoes. Is this the “new fresh “? $43.82 is never coming back here again. Sending food back and complaining is awkward, and then it’s got to be a complete redo, not a recook- so you have to wait. I came from Sebring. I don’t understand what many have raved about. I’ve had fresh and I’ve had blackened- none of which was ever like this- and for a lot less money. To be fair, I have compared experiences with other customers both on and off this review. The consensus seems to be that you are slipping in quality and preparation. With both increasing food choices and prices I would recommend a drastic improvement. As for me, it was a substantial price for a substantial disaster. Way more than a disappointment especially in these economic challenging times. I would have discussed with the server but I was hungry and didn’t want the embarrassment of waiting for a complete new meal. All I can say is Amazing ! From when you walk in to when you walk out. Customer service was phenomenal and the food was so damn delicious (excuse my language). My friend wanted to kiss the cook lol. Every time I go out to eat at a seafood place I spend so much but never get a lot of food the portions are still small for the price , NOT HERE , the food had so much flavor and the portions actually surprised me I was VERY HAPPY, they serve a lot and its under new management and between the manager coming to introduce himself and checking on us to our waitress and another employee they made sure everything was perfect and our drinks were topped of. Our waitress Lee was awesome she had us laughing and made sure we knew what all came in our food in case we didn't like onions she heard me say I didn't like them lol .

I got the mussels for an appetizer my friend got the crab cakes and we both got the catfish for dinner. they were all to die for , soooo good !!

Also I felt bad because it was our first time and they closed at 9 and we were there a little passed 9 . We didn't know the hours and we thought there was another table there so we assumed they were still open but go to find out it was the manager and maybe his family or some of the coworkers but they weren't mad and they didn't rush us like most places will give you looks and you can tell they are upset but they were still up beat and polite and funny . the manager seems pretty cool, same with the staff, this place is by far on my top list . Was very disappointed. My fiance and I arrived 7 pm on the Saturday the day before Mothers Day beings I had to work a double as a server myself on Mothers Day. Was busy with parties but still had a few empty tables. It took 15 minutes to get acknowledged by my server whom i dont even know his name because he was in such a rush that I barely finished telling him what I wanted to drink before he ran off. I mean literally ran. He was running practically the whole 2 hours I was sitting there waiting on my food that never arrived. I had to ask host for my beers I ordered 20 minutes after finally being acknowledged. I then had to ask a female sever for my salad 45 minutes into service because I was starving and needed a second beer which the host delivered again. We are now 15 minutes from closing only to finally have my server approach my table to tell me they were out of the pasta dish I ordered an hour and 45 minutes prior and would I like something else. I know this male server forgot to put in my order. The female server that brought my salad did acknowledge that they were not out of pasta and she apologized for my horrible experience as a first time customer. They did take care of my beer which I wouldn't expect anything less but however offered a gift card if I gave them another chance. I agreed but when she left the table and returned she told us to have a good night and apologized again. However I never received a gift card. By the time we left everything was closed in 10 minutes.
