If I could not give this "restaurant" and I use the term loosely, a star I would. The staff is very rude and the food is awful. We told our waitress about the problem with the food. She gave us a coupon for a free meal which expired in 2022. The prime rib was fatty and tough. The catfish had an odd taste to it and some pieces were raw. We won't go back there ever.
Addendum: Firstly, we weren't in any dither. We didn't give your waitress a hard time. We were there to celebrate my husband's birthday. The steak was cooked as your waitress said. The problem with the steak was it was tough meat riddled with fat. As for my catfish it was raw as if it was not turned over in the fryer. I showed her that it was raw and sent it back. She asked if I wanted anything else and I politely told her no. She had a bad attitude from the start. Since the meals couldn't be eaten and were sent back they were comped. I told her thank you for doing that. Her problem was every question we asked her was evidently annoying. I asked her for lemon and she curtly said it's on the table. It was a packet of lemon powder and we made the best of it. As for cooking the prime rib, she said they weren't allowed to serve it the way my husband wanted. He jokingly said, can't you tell the cook to mistakenly take it off the grill early. We laughed she rolled her eyes and smirked. Everybody has a bad day but you do no take it out on the customers. Your other waitresses were very nice to their customers so I don't know what her problem is that she brought to work but she should learn to leave it at the door. I saw no reason to take your coupon as I don't want to every visit your...
Read moreIf you are going out to a restraunt above McDonald's and want something better than you can cook yourself at home in a pinch; this isn't it. I gave 3 ☆'s only because our waitress was very nice and patient. I gave it 2 ☆ for cleanliness. The bathroom was not clean. The floor in Women's bathroom was sticky with toilet paper on the floor in different places. Just a uncomfortable feel of uncleanness. I gave 1☆ because the food was all around bad. My husband had pulled pork. He said it was tough to chew. I ordered prime rib only because it tends to be a tender red meat. My luck it was dry and too tough for me to chew. I NEVER complain because I have worked in the public (not food) over 40 years. I held back tears because I felt guilty for complaining, I'm 63 years old and never had the nerve to complain. The prime rib was the last straw. I told the waitress I was feeling so bad about saying anything. She was nice and apologized. Another lady came to say she took the cost of the prime rib off our ticket. That was fare. Then she told us there were only 2 of them left from the day and probably shouldn't have been served. (Ya think? TMI). We ordered sandwiches for our teen sons at home. I didn't look in the box. When I got home I couldn't believe what We paid for. I could only get a picture of the sandwich described as a "Black angus bacon and cheese burger". We left off the bacon and cheese. The picture on the menu looked like a hand patted beef burger. As you can see in my picture it was a fried patty smaller than McDonald's Quarter pounder! McDonald's fries are also better and their meal comes with a drink. Woodys crinkle fries were thin, unsalted with no drink at a couple...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. Tonya our waitress was rude and the food was terrible. The ribs had very little meat and were mostly bones and fat. Children don’t eat free. We were told they would take the child’s food off the bill but as soon as we said we didn’t like the food they added the charge back on. Will never eat here again.
We never got 4th or 5th we got 3eds and the 2ed order of ribs my wife got was mostly just bone the 3ed order me and my wife received was almost all bone and when the ribs were cut they were cut against the bone not next to the bone if a kid was to eating it they would of chocked on a bone and we never huffed or puffed at the check out when we ordered it said on the little cards on the table to ask your waitress about the children eat for free she then said if the kid ordered from this part of the menu witch was the lunch menu the child eats for free never said the adults have to order from the same part of the menu for the kid to eat for free your manager never specified and she was not asked to the register she yelled across the room that we were advices about this we replied that’s not what we understood then your cashier tell my wife she would remove the kid food we then told them the ribs were not that grate and she changed her mind to remove the kids food I then asked for the corporate number and she told be to grab a menu around the corner and the numbers on it if your employees wanna make up stuff 5 or 6 servings that’s fine we have already alerted notified the food borough and we’ve taking pics of our plates and sent to them as well we don’t want free food or anything from your bbq joint your employees didn’t have to be rude...
