El Rinconcito Colombiano 3 — Restaurant in Lake Worth Beach

This has been one of the worst experiences I've ever had.

First of all, me and my mother order coffee with milk that took us almost 40 minutes to get. And if it wasn't for us getting the attention of another server I don't think it will ever happen. After we got our coffee our first server completely ignored us and we had to get another server entirely. (Coffee was cold even though we got it fresh)

Second of all, we were ahead of many people and those people left way before us and even the newer customers had their foods out first. Not one person came to us the whole time again, and again we had to get the attention of another server. We tried giving them the benefit of doubt that maybe they were to busy but that wasn't even the case because people around us were getting served so quick.

Third and final point, the food came out quick surprisingly but it was soon as I took out my phone and started writing a review on them is when they finally started to come ask us how are we doing and is there anything we need. In total while we were eating I want to say they stopped by a minimum of 9 times. Where was the urgency then and by the way It was meant with a lot of stares throughout, I kept catching when I looked up.

Maybe we we looked mean or something?? I have no idea, we greeted and meant then with smiles and asking how they are! I guess I'll never know. I won't be back here again.

On Friday, September 1st, at 9:56pm, I placed a takeout order for a large picada. Drove 25 minutes to pick up my order, I paid for the picada ($35.30) at around 10:55pm. As I was leaving, I noticed that the tray was a bit light, but it was raining and I wasn't about to go back. I got home as I took off the aluminum foil, I noticed that there were more plantains, fries, and yellow potatoes than meat. In fact, this is not the first time this has happened. A few months ago, I came with my family dined in and ordered 3 fruit salads , a breaded shrimp, and a chuletazo. The food came out 20 minutes after placing the order, but the fruit salads were not at the table yet. I had to ask one of the waiters why the salads were taking so long, and 5 minutes later, we got the salads in a to go container and a lot less salad. I'm very disappointed and dissatisfied with the service and the portions of the food for the price at this location. Would I recommend this location to anyone I know 🤔 most definitely not. Oh, one more thing I believe that the takeout charge is put on the bill when the food is being delivered, not when the customer is picking up their own food. They say the charge is for the container, but that charge should already be in the actual price so that customers like me don't second guess the amount being charged. I will not be coming back nor ordering anything from this particular...

I've been in this restaurant several times, always bringing friends and family, they are always on top of the game, and the food it's delicious and tastes the same as if you are in Colombia, but last time I went I ordered as an appetizer "empanadas" and they didn't taste like they always do, so I told the waitress about it and she told me: I can't take the plate with me, you have to take them with you or something... and I was shocked about that, I asked her if I could talk to a manager and then she comes (the manager) and tells me the same... we can't take the food... that I had to take it with me but they can't take it from the table; I told her: I don't like the taste of it... I don't want to eat that.... she said: the best I can do for you is ask the cook if he thinks the food is good, I told myself: the cook is not paying for my food. I AM... she came back and said: cook says food is fine... we can not take it. I want to let someone know that to my eyes this is a stupid rule... and if the wanna keep it, then they have just lost my business and absolutely every single person that I...
