Great meat shop you can choose any cut of beef/ steak that you want. Be prepared to be pushy cuz if you're not you're going to get run over. it's not a rude thing it's a cultural thing and you just have to hold your own while you're in the store. it doesn't give you the right to be rude because nobody else is being rude they're just doing what they do when they shop and if you don't keep up you're going to get left behind. the prices are worth the battle and the food is phenomenal even in the cafe they have prepared food that is absolutely worth the wait and the prices because the amount of food you get is absolutely amazing. And once again I cannot say enough about their meat department. From using their butcher to picking something out of the frozen section if you're squeamish be careful because there are some things that I'm sure you have not seen before for sale that you will see there. This Presidente is nearest our country club but it was the worst experience I’ve had in a long while. It was so unbelievably outrageous that I looked around for cameras because surely it must be a joke. The cashier was very aggressive and rude! She was a Haitian lady working the register on last Sunday and she literally kept one bag from me on purpose she was so cruel. I go back in after loading my car, realizing it wasn’t with me. I asked her for the item (politely!) and she shrugged and shooed me away saying, “I don’t know.” as she rolled her eyes! I was shocked and asked for a manager, she casually waved for the “manager” to get it from the register behind her where she intentionally tucked it. Packaged food are all stale with expired dates! These items should be removed from the shelves! The store is quite large. But, since all package foods are stale, maybe they should downsize and just be a deli. They're not any competition for Publix or even Walmart! If you're not Hispanic, don't expect to get service too quickly at the lunch counter sit in/takeout section. BUT, a lot of the employees don't speak English and maybe they're not comfortable or they're embarrassed trying to speak what little English they know. Meat department employees in the back of store were helpful and polite. That department has good cold cuts. Nice vegetables at a reasonable price.
