Great Wok — Restaurant in Lakehurst

It’s good to have a place close, even though it isn’t a very authentic dining room. There was only one table being used in their spacious dining area.

I did ordering at the restaurant and took a seat. It took about 20 minutes for egg drop soup, pork fried rice, veggie lo mein and general tso chicken. Typical Chinese fair.

I asked for very spicy general tso but it came out with ZERO heat, tasty but I was disappointed at the spice level.

The egg drop soup has corn in it, I swear that’s a first for me. Great Chinese crackers-not home made but not those horrible rock hard crackers many people toss in your bag, I swear they are trying to get rid of them.

I placed an order for delivery to my daughter's home in Lakehurst. The order was for 3 people. And called in at 5:40pm January 21. 2022. I was informed the order/delivery would be one hour. I gave them my daughter's cellphone number in Lakehurst if they had any issues. At 7:30 pm, I called my daughter and 2 hours later she didn't have the order. She called the Great Wok just said its out for delivery. 15 minutes later the deliver was made, the food was cold and they forgot half the order. My daughter called back and said they would get the order right out. Been useing this place for year live like 2 minutes from them. in the last few weeks beef on food was all fat and chewy and cold .yesterday we ordered food was cold forgot egg rolls called them up girl said no problem bring them to us. An hour goes by we call them up to see what is problem and owner was on phone and told us his driver is now mad at him he was there for 20 minutes and knocked and rang doorbell Well I told him I’m home and nobody ever knocked or rang doorbell why wouldn’t they call if problem like anyother time.
