It was our first visit on very sad rainy day, but from the moment we were seated the sunshine came in the form of our wonderful waitress Mary, who was in happy mood, dancing and being just everywhere she could there for us...that was amazing first impression of our dinner and everything else was great - the food was very good (the portions were humongous), the atmosphere is very nice, place is spotless and looks like it was refurbished not to long ago (besides the bathrooms, they need attention). The kind of music they played was perfect (at least for us) and the volume level was also good - we could have comfortable conversation... If nothing would be good (but it was), I still would definitely come for the cheesecake - out of this world..we definitely going to be back for breakfast and lunch too (we will be back Mary..! - there is something about Mary)...👍😁🥗🍲🥟

I have always loved the food at the Lakehurst Diner, been going there for Decades. My son and I went in after his doctor's appointment. He got the Athenia Panini, and I got the Virginia Ham and egg breakfast. Let me tell you the food was right on point. Everything was delicious. When you go there, ask for Robin-Ann, she is the best and took care of like a Mom would. The only question I may ask is to bring back the soup and sandwich lunch special. It nice and won't kill my dinner. Thank You keep up the great food!!

Great place to eat, friendly staff and our waitress Toula was awesome.prices were below average for a diner.our meal came with coffee and juice that also added value.out the door with an additional fruit cup for 3.50 and our bill was under 19 bucks.the food was great and well prepared, the restaurant was spotless from top to bottom.only reason I held back on 5 stars is i have only had breakfast and no other meals, plan on going back to try all.im sure that will raise the review to a top notch place to eat.😁😁😁

Horrible, place was not busy at all, took about 20 minutes before anyone came over to the table just to take drink orders. My daughter asked what kind of drinks they had and the waitress asked what she was in the mood for, she said orange soda, the waitress said they dont have that but she can put seltzer water in orange juice. Then told her they have root beer and lemonade. After that was finally done, took another 25 minutes just for her to come take our food order. When we were ordering the waitress was pretty much making our decisions for us, my daughter asked for whipped cream on her pancakes and the waitress told her it would probably be mush by the time it got to the table so it wouldnt be a good idea. Asked for cheese fries and she said we probably wouldnt want them because the cheese would be cold and hard by the time it got to us. Everything we asked for she would say it's not a good idea,or she would assume we wouldnt want it. Not happy with the whole thing. She never came to our table throughout the whole time we were there except to take the orders. We arrived at the diner at 7:00 p.m and did not receive our food until 8:15. The food was cold, my daughters pancakes were hard. It was a mess and just not a...

Just moved to Manchester and wanted to check out the restaurants around here. Came here for breakfast and everything was great. Food was delicious, and my waitress was helpful. It wasn’t until my friend and I had finished our food where things kind of went sour. Being that this was my first time there, I didn’t know if you were supposed to go up and pay once you were done or if you waited for the receipt and then went. So after waiting 15 minutes for a receipt and not getting one, i just walked up to the desk to ask if i pay or not. The man at the register was helpful and rang me up. My friend was still seated at the table while i paid, and when i went back to leave the tip at our table, she told me the waitress ended up bringing the receipt. She said she apologized to the waitress for me going up to the register before receiving the receipt and the waitress said “Oh… yeah you’re supposed to wait. Whatever though.” And leaves the receipt on the table. Being that this was my first time there, I obviously didn’t know the policy and made a mistake. Would’ve been a great experience if it hadn’t ended the way it did, just left me feeling...

This place has been here forever. It seems. I’ve gotten good soups from there before and a take away burger that was good but most dining experiences here were mediocre at best.

Diner, along route 70 in Lakehurst, and holds quite a few people with fairly roomy tables with an old look From many years gone by.

This is not one of those eclectic places that hoard every imaginable kind of junk, it is reminiscent of an old school of New Jersey diner, and at its core it is. But it is dated more to the 80s.

Many people choose to eat lunch at the counter here, and usually around dining hours the parking lot is fairly full.

Look for anything homemade on the menu and a special that day and you’re likely to be satisfied. Other menu items aren’t so spectacular because it started out frozen 20 minutes before you ordered it.

The Fairest part is the prices of specials make this an affordable place for a family compared to so many places...
