My girlfriend and I recently visited this place on a whim, craving some icecream. I was amazed by the concept of infusing nitrogen with cream to create the dessert...My amusement and boyish excitement was quickly thwarted by the female manager/owner. She hurried me along in line even after I explained I was waiting for my girlfriend. Feeling rushed I complied and my girlfriend came quickly afterwards to add hers to the scale. I was perplexed and startled to see 20$ and change for two of the smallest sizes they had. Not wanting to make a fuss a reluctantly paid with the mental side note to never walk into this establishment again. The owner/manager seemed annoyed that she received no tip on her overpriced science experiment. As my girlfriend and I left she made the snobby remark "It's the best icecream you'll ever eat." Giving in to this ladies delusions of frosty grandeur I walked out and sat on a bench by publix. As I ate my icecream I was disappointed and thought it was mediocre at very best. I also felt hornswoggled and duped with every cold blooded bite...My girlfriend tasted hers and was appalled and very discontented with the taste, price and attitude of the owner. She asked for a refund expressing her dissatisfaction and was mocked by the owner/manager as if her opinion was irrelevant. This woman even had the temerity of threatenin to get her husband in on the argument. Unprofessional, crass and shameful of such a place. If you want to feel robbed or tricked for sub par icecream...I highly recommend this place. Honestly...20$ for 2 small icecreams is literally insane, preposterous and asinine. A 4.99 pint a german Hãagen-Dazs would have been 1,000 times better, more enjoyable...
Read moreThe ice-cream was okay out of 5 people 2 of them liked it. The milkshakes tasted watered down. I never had a milkshake out that was so tasteless it would not get finished by at least my kids. The price equals out to about $10per person. My biggest problem is the scammy nature of the experience. We bought a Groupon there and they knew we had it when ordering. I go to pay after my kids are eating their ice cream and the call the owner to figure how to use it and he says we don’t take those anymore. Even though it was still good/ not expired. So now I have to pay almost full price for (they said I could have 10% off) the food and I have a Groupon that I have to fight to get a refund over or just count it as a loss. I spent 30 minutes chatting with them and they said since it’s no longer in the “return window “ they will have to escalate it. What a waste of time for mediocre ice cream. Edit. This was my first time ever going there, I don’t know why they said it was 3. I guess that goes with the scammy nature of the business. There is an expiration date on the groupon which I still had over a month left to use. They either don’t know how groupon works or they put their business on it to get people to come in then make them pay full price so they get double pay. Groupon and cash. I still haven’t received a refund even though I reached out to...
Read moreI went here even though I’ve read some pretty bad reviews, so I made sure to pay attention to people’s “complaints “. Upon entering we were immediately greeted by an employee and asked if it was our first time there, we replied no and she proceeded to come to the serving area to show us everything and explained how it was. I have been to Other nitrogen ice creams places but here you kinda have to do the mix, which is different I do like having it done because my only critique would be I didn’t know how much base to put and we were alone so had the undivided attention of the employee for that specific instruction but of there was a line or a kid put too much or not enough I’m sure the quality or flavor could be affected. After adding the ingredients of the flavor chosen you handle them the mix and they make the ice cream for you, then you add the toppings. People complain of cost, well if you keep adding stuff I’m sure it would keep increasing right? I only added one cookie and one shot of caramel my ice cream came out to about $6. For fresh creamy good flavored ice cream and a different experience that is very reasonable. Because o liked the flavor, the store and the way I was greeted I know I’ll be back. My advice is don’t decide based on people’s...
