Hibachi Express — Restaurant in Lakeland

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. my daughter went into this place to get steak and rice. She comes back to the car takes one bite of the rice and the rice is not even cooked. I simply go back inside and ask if they can remake it or just give me a refund. The lady at the counter, proceeds to go to the back and get her manager, but the manager was unbearably rude…. she was speaking to me like I was dumb and trying to complement how good her rice is. She was saying that I was the first person to ever complain about how the rice was not done, although i was NOT being rude at all she kept talking about her rice and then proceeded to roll her eyes and shake her head and comparing me and my daughter to everyone else who “likes” the rice, i told her “every human is different and unfortunately we do not like the rice uncooked”. All i wanted was my money back or some cooked rice. I stood at the counter for at least 15/20 minutes telling this lady i would just like a refund and her response was always something about how good her rice is everytime… eventually she gave me a refund. The food was extremely disappointing. I live on north side so I normally go to socrum location. Food is always so good. I decided since I was visiting my boyfriend on South side I would try the one off county line by his home. I ordered shrimp tempura sushi roll,and two entree,extra yumyum sauce totaling around $40. The trio I had of steak,shrimp,and chicken there was lots of chicken three pieces of steak and three shrimp. The steak was over cooked and dry. The shrimp tasted old and dry. My fried rice was very dry and tasted old and reheated. The tempura roll I ate one piece and threw away. I'm a nurse and worked over 13 hrs. From that morning getting off I never slept I went to my son's soccer game then took my 2 year old to emergency room. By the time I settled down it was around 5. I was hungry and looking forward to rest and a really good meal. I knew I could count on hibachi Express. However this location was very disappointing and I will never eat there again. Second time I tried to get food from there. The first time I stood at the register to order and was never even acknowledged so I left. Today I was acknowledged once the counter person was done posting on his phone. I placed my order and sat down and waited. About 45 min to an hour passed and people that walked in and ordered after me were getting their food. (I want to make clear there were only a young couple and 2 guys seated when I walked in.) I asked if I had been forgotten but didn't really get an answer. I overheard him say to the other counter person referring to me "he can wait some more". Ok so I waited for another approximate 10 min or so and now my food is ready, an hour after I ordered it on my lunch break. I work at one of the warehouses down the road. So since I'm already late getting back to work and will probably get a write up, what's another 10-15 min right so I ask for my card to have the charge reversed.
