The wife and I had seen this place recommended so we decided to give it a try. We looked up the address through their website and drove to their “location” off of highway 98. It turns out they were not there and had moved around to a parking lot near Primo water. We only knew that by looking through their social media.
Once we arrived at the other location, we saw that they only had combos meals on the menu, which they confirmed they could not separate the burger and fries. Just to preface, we have 4 smaller kids and getting combos for each doesn’t make sense for us. In total, we ended up with a total of about $63.
When we tried to pay, the card machine wasn’t working and they ended up stating that they couldn’t take cards at that time. The whole experience was a let down. In total we drove 40 minutes to try them out. The lady at the register was constantly closing the small window at the front after we finished asking a question and the interaction wasn’t exactly warm.
After trying to eat at Mariyahs, we ended up going to Culver’s and was a whole $12 less for all food with all kids getting a meal with ice cream. Maybe we will try to go again on our own but the service and experience was an...

I was delighted to see that they had moved a little closer to my home in Plant City versus all the way out on Hwy 98. Prices had changed a bit, but I was good with that because everything (burger and fries) used to be a la carte. I figured the burgers’ taste hadn’t changed and I was happy to see a burger and wing combo on the menu, so I gave it a try. Burger was excellent as I remembered. —————————
I’m usually very apprehensive about food trucks, in fact there’s only one that I frequent. However, my, my, what a delicious meal. I had a MB3, onion rings, vanilla shake. Burger size was good and it was tasty. Onion rings were crisp like I like them and breading wasn’t falling all off like some places. The dipping sauce for the onion rings have a lil more kick than I can handle, but I’m a light weight when it comes to spices. The shake was good, I usually like them thicker though. I’ll have to ask for that next time. The wife enjoyed her MB2, fries and lemonade. All in all, no complaints and really enjoyed everything. We’ll...
Read moreAfter reading numerous drool-worthy reviews and Facebook posts, my husband and I finally made it to Mariyah's Smash Burgers and Shakes in Lakeland yesterday…and we're so glad we did! These are the BEST burgers we've had in Florida since moving here three years ago - so fresh, juicy, and delicious! (We ate them so fast, we had to check and make sure our fingers were still intact! 😜)
We both had the BM2 - double smashburgers with cheese, grilled onions, kosher pickles and their awesome Mariyah sauce. Every ingredient was perfect, even the bun! We shared a generous portion of crinkled french fries, cooked and seasoned just right; and an order of onion rings, which were exactly the right balance of tender onion and crispy batter and perfectly paired with a side of Mariyah sauce for dipping. Yum!
The owner of Mariyah's is obviously a gifted cook - every single bite was truly delicious! On top of that, he was really friendly and kind. 🤗
We drove for an hour to get to try these burgers, and it was well worth it. We will absolutely be back!
You must give Mariyah's a try! Look for the bright yellow food truck. You can thank...
